I have watched a lot of videos about winterization and ended up teaching myself. I watched this video to find my hotwater tank and bypass valve Directions and all I can say is I wish you would have had this one years ago what a perfect layout of how to do yourself thank you and I am sure it will help many people
Don’t forget to switch the 3 way valve back on pump before putting cover back on. I also recoup a lot of my antifreeze by putting a small pail under each faucet when the pink starts coming out. That way I can run the faucets a good 5-10 seconds with antifreeze and recycle with catch pail (except for toilet but it’s good to put antifreeze in the black tank anyhow). Also, after it’s all winterized I put my pail under the low point drains and pull the caps off. Tons of antifreeze comes back out for re-use. Doing these steps allows you to use about 50% less antifreeze
Yes, very good video. Thanks for saying 20 lbs of air to blow out the lines. I know you used air to blow out the black water line, but should antifreeze be added to that line also?

The most thorough video on winterization I’ve seen . Great job!!!
Excellent of all I have watched. I would suggest showing drain of hot water tank.
He said to remove the anode rod and then put it back.
Thanks this applied to my Freedom Express also. By pass valves etc.. pretty close as far as location. Got to get a pressure adapter!
Glad it helped!
very helpful
