Thanks, I’m about to head there because of this video. Quick question, I’m bringing my bike. Where did you film that bit about the “parks and trails?” Looks nice
It is a very quaint and attractive community. Unfortunately the affluence brings with it an uncomfortable snobbery. Lots of insincere virtue signaling and jockeying for social standing. Its hard to keep a straight face when interacting with many of these folks. 😅 The negatives are the attitudes and the housing inventory being generally old suffers functional obsolescence which is disturbing relative to pricing. Real estate taxes are brutal as well. In their untiring efforts to maintain the quaintness and flavor of the area they suffer a lot petty arguments over what color you can paint your house or what improvements you can make, etc.. Again, it is everything said in this video and more. I am a bit envious of some aspects of it, but I made my choices and trade offs. I opted to live in new contruction, with more land, more house, more amenities and less quaint shopping and tree lined streets. I don't live far away and can visit to shop and dine when I feel like it, so I am comfortable with my choices.
You’re not the first to mention some of the points raised here. We’ve spoken to a few that have decided to move to neighbouring communities for those very reason. But it is still an incredibly charming town, with both pluses and minuses. Appreciate your candour!
Haddonfield is great.
Absolutely it is 😉
I was about to leave an angry comment, but then I watched the video and realized it was sarcastic so I’m very satisfied
Haha we appreciate a good sense of humor!! 😂 Haddonfield is the best! But shush- don’t tell anyone 🤫

He listed every reason why to be there
Yes it's tongue-in-cheek 😉

Loved there my whole young life and never shopped in Haddonfield as I couldn’t afford anything
High taxes
Haddonfield the goat!!!
I prefer Haddonfield, Illinois
I regret living in Haddonfield, Illinois. Lost all my friends. Some masked killer was out to kill me. And now I'm suffering from trauma.
Sounds scary 🤣🔪
