This kind of suffers from the same problem many "make your own drill press" videos..you are using a table saw to build a crosscut saw. So...you already have a table saw to make accurate cuts with, thus making building the jig more accurate. Lets see it made by hand without a table saw, then I'd be more interested
Some other videos I have seen, make use of a factory cut. That is, with a piece of wood cut from the store or lumber mill, you assume it is straight or you can make additional measurements / use a level to verify. Once you have that as your straight edge, then use that with the circular saw to make all the other staight cuts, until you have the pieces you need for your cross-cut sled.
I would extend the top rails out past the end so you can completely clear the saw blade from the material but otherwise I think I will have to borrow this design myself.
in these video that looks a silver bar on the table ( 1:27) can you tell me what is that ? where i can buy that stuff because i want to do for my circular saw just like you did. tq
Very, very job. A brazilian fan. Congratulation!
Man U got a skill at this so young age, amazing I enjoyed your video it's so simple and other stuff u homemade.
Nice build! Good comment on the thin pieces if using a circular saw. I'll rip mine a little wider.
Good workmanship. Resourceful and practical.
Nice washer and dryer also,,,

your saw blade is up to high, I think you only need about half that height ....... I enjoy watching your workmanship

hi I'm from Brazil ... like your video .... it shows your table saw ... I signed up on your channel ...

I have spent months researching diy table saws and found an awesome website at Wilfs wood blueprint (google it if you're interested)
Great presentation
simple yet effective.
in these video that looks a silver bar on the table ( 1:27) can you tell me what is that ? where i can buy that stuff because i want to do for my circular saw just like you did. tq
The silver bar is called a straight edge. You can get it at Harbor Freight Tools.
Thanks for watching! :)
Good video. Thanks!. One question: What did you put on the top of guide to make the saw slide easily?
Hi Mauro Sanchez, I put some paste wax on the slides to make it smoother, hope that helps!
Ok thanks for your answer. I will try it
good video man. very good stuff, happy new year
Awesome! I'm gonna try it!
the ruler that use to make border and cut the wood ? where can buy that stuff
Do you mean the straight edge? You can get it from Harbor Freight
Well Done Young Man!
Nice job boy!!!
I enjoyed your video & I like your shirt!
Man how old are u. U are a smart young man. Good work keep it up. And yes I subscribe
TD because not enough nails used. If you aren't dumping a magazine into a 24" strip of wood, you're half-assing it.
Man bring that saw blade down, it only need to just be above your wood you are cutting. Be safe man!
what you say so right, adjust the blade down and safe
the dimension of wood ? can you tell me the ideal size
You can download a free sketchup model to get the dimension of the jig.
