Made my day this coming out. I mentioned it while recording a video this morning. Then got home to find pictures and videos all over the internet. #goodtobealive
This is the RC that I want. I have been seriously looking in the last year to get back into it... the last time was when I was a kid 35 years ago. I was thinking that Rlaarlo was a good starting point... but this Big Rock 223s is exactly what I want. I just can't afford anything because I'm just a poor foster dad at this point. Maybe sometime.... but what a truck!
If you told me 3 years ago that I would own more Arrma Cars/Trucks than any other brand, I would have said you're smokin too much chronic😂🤣 But I have a great army of Arrma's!
Great video as always! I loved the 1/7th scale but a little over budget lol. Regret not getting a first gen but this one is definitely a strong possibility. I like that dark green body option they have.
I perchased the old model last month as my first 3s rc now i wanna kick myself 😂 all the upgrades i plan to do on mine r now included in this one omg im so mad rn.. n to top it off its cheaper.😂
Because not everyone wants the same stuff. I have had vehicles from everyone, from Traxxas to Losi to Kyosho to Team Associated. I currently have a TRX4, a Rustler 4x4 Ultimate, a Typhon Grom, and an Ascent 18. Whatever looks cool and works well for me.
Because Traxxas used to be the best and everything they sold was a safe bet. Something big happened with their quality control and service, and I have a feeling it has something to do with Horizon Hobby but it's just a feeling.
I don't know the new Kraton 6S seems to stick on very well, ThunderRC regularly sends his K6 40+ feet in the air and it hasn't popped off once. Can't speak to the 3S lineup though.
Both of them have their pros and cons I've had body post holes be blown out from hard jumps even with the support of washers, i think having the body pop off then buy a new one cause it no longer stays on cause the holes are blown out is a good traded off, other then it limits after market body support
Wow i can't believe these people keep selling us fhe same trucks over and over with just few minor upgrades that really doesn't help the truck/cars performance. No thanks!
I have 4, 3s vehicles. There are several pros vs older ones. 1: Center diff, allows individuals to dial in how they want their vehicle to perform and is more forgiving on drivetrain when landing when you have poor throttle control, something most people (kids) will have as 2/3s is the starting point for most beginners. 2: Gyro for steering with 4 levels of assistance, also huge for those just beginning to keep their RC under control while they are trying to go 50 mph 3. Clipless body so convenient Only con I can see from these new Arrmas is the ESC and transmitter are one unit. But then again, like I said, these are entry level RCs so they are probably assuming when people Upgrade to 4-8s rcs they won't be needing the ESC, Motor and Rx/tx anyway
Currently my EReevo brushless goes 126 mph then the factory centre drive shaft and both rear drive shafts twisted and shredded . I’ve upgraded now and she goes 155 . Lithium polymer 4s the 6s does 175 but is very unstable ! I’ve had to make a front and rear custom wheelie bare Not got the EReevo mkii ie the 3.3 it seems utterly pointless way to fast My fiend hit 215 at SantaPod England 🏴 last year and crashed it into 100 bits and the battery exploded 😂 The record is 226mph
@ we run just for fun but you can go way to fast man become a serious health hazard to yourself , Ya ankles and others . I stick to 60 across the fields out in the woods and farmers fields tbh . It’s just to fast and in the straits you cannot see the dam thing coming so I blast music from mine and it’s sprayed 80’s fluorescent colours . I’m gonna mount a drone and a camera on mine and get one of them visors so I can go rob some ships like on UA-cam Milk n some beer please with£20 in the back UA-cam site has some dam good ideas as I’m lazy and love beer . And the shop in the village is cool af so I’ll send the rc car to go pick it up . But I gotta learn how to do all that first 😂
I love the new lineup but I am afraid they don't have as much power as the old 100amp ESC. I had the whole first lineup and every one of those 3s cars would wheelie without a problem. I'm saying that these ones don't have the power to just wheelie all the time like the other ones did. Maybe they did that to make the power more controllable and come on more subtle.
IMO, the Big Rock is Arrma's best model as it's the best compromise of performance, durability, and price point in the lineup.
if you can splurlge get a typhon 6s blx. they are OUT OF CONTROL FUN and borderliune indestrucible.
I missed nero and fazon tho, wished they'd make a comeback one way or another

Arrma is just the best RC Company. They just keep bringing it.
Skate park snow bashing was awesome 10/10
I wish they would make the bottom of the chassis flush with the body. It would look so much better that way
Thanks Greg, great video as always. Hope you start feeling better soon!
Thanks my friend. This headcold has really hit me hard.

Safe to say a Big Rock 6S update is coming real soon
Great video hope you feel better soon
@@shawnmarshall882 Thank you!
I love the big rock I had the 3s years ago and it was so fast
Does it have any delay in the radio, I had that in the v3 and I hated the soft start it had
Cool. My new Valkyrie MT is there.

Great review 🎉
Beautiful in flight
Seeing 2 vids in one day make me so happy keep up the good work
@Skylinefurlife32sdiecast old Greg couldn’t stop, not even a cold can stop this guy!!
LOL Thanks! Been pretty sick though. It’s really cut down what I’ve been able to do. But I managed to stop coughing enough to get a few vids out.
Awesome 👌 I now see the appeal of these style of trucks & can't wait to run my Granite 👍
Put the 4s system in it from the outcast or Kraton 4s. Really wakes it up.
I wish more R/C companies would sell their vehicles without their electronics.. and threaded shocks should always be a thing! 👍(Aluminum or not)
1/8 scale really, so quite impressive at 50mph!!
Great video as always! I loved the 1/7th scale but a little over budget lol. Regret not getting a first gen but this one is definitely a strong possibility. I like that dark green body option they have.

HOME Run!
I knew it 😊
that green matches my Wired Freedom E bike pretty good - Im Def in on this new version - No discount code on new release?
When is it coming out
Sei semplicemente il migliore, attendo sempre con ansia i tuoi video 👌saluti da Italia 🇮🇹
I have the blue one coming. I need more space…..
Whats the benefit of 3 differentials over 2? Had to give away my old one. Miss it. Thinking about this one now
Center differential allows a speed differential between the front and rear axle.
I like this!
I think RC companies test their speeds going downhill.
Nice an all but they should've made it 4s ,,,or better yet a grom 😅
Easer to work on? Wtf are you wrenching on?
You should link up with Built by Rob RC. He bashes at the same spot
Yup, I watch his channel. We tried to meet up a while back, but our schedules are off.
Seriously. Why does anyone buy Traxxas stuff?
No idea!
Who knows !!!!

I like the scale look of these bodies vs the generic clown car look 👍
223s? I'm happy with 4s 😂🤣
8s big rock 1/5
First Here
Clipless bodies don't work! They pop off constantly. No matter what brand it is. Please stop making them.
I don't know the new Kraton 6S seems to stick on very well, ThunderRC regularly sends his K6 40+ feet in the air and it hasn't popped off once. Can't speak to the 3S lineup though.
The body on my Rustler 4x4 stays on just fine. It's a little harder to install, but when it's on, it stays there unless I'd break the body itself.
Both of them have their pros and cons I've had body post holes be blown out from hard jumps even with the support of washers, i think having the body pop off then buy a new one cause it no longer stays on cause the holes are blown out is a good traded off, other then it limits after market body support
the micro b would love to disagree... and the scx24 base camp

Wow! I love the e revo 2.0. I wish they’d make a 3.0 but they’ve been releasing garbage lately

I was interested until I saw that it is 1 crap, I mean 1/10 scale.😂
Get the 6s then 🙄🤦🏻♂️
