Learning how to fly from Background PPG was the best decision I've ever made. You won't regret it!

Man! Makes me want to learn how to fly all over again! Great summary of the training!

I trained with Backcountry last year. During my training and first flights I was nervous but felt prepared. I never felt unsafe. They have you repeat critical tasks again and again until it is muscle memory. I love flying and get to confidently because of backcountry PPG!

I wish I learned to fly with you guys. I don’t think you were established when I had learn to fly regardless, flying is awesome and you guys are doing a great job.

This is great. Amazing video on some of the basic training. I remember my instructor making me land next to him and continue kiting while he asked me how my flight went --- then he was like "this is a touch and go --- when you are ready, take off again"

Awesome video! I’m sharing this with friends interested in getting into the sport. Have you all considered getting a winch tow or hitting the south side for some sled runs prior to first flights? The feeling of flare timing can be so unfamiliar when you’re brand new, and I feel like winch towing helped me a lot.

I have mixed feelings about towing and have had poor experiences in the past. I don’t prefer it and have had several conversations with instructors who do tow, and they don’t think it adds any real value to the training experience from a skills standpoint. But finding a bunny hill to run off is not a terrible idea!

Hi . Firstly thanks for all the videos. I just wondered what you have found to be the best throttle to use? I have the std pap one.. i tend to find my throttle hand a bit busy and hard to park the brake smoothly.. do you have the brake handle round all 4 fingers? Any advice would be appreciated.

@@davebutcher701 off grid throttle is my preferred throttle!
