Enjoy it! Relax & have fun. Had a pixie for years, salon visits every 4-6 wks without fail. The way yours is now, you could just comb it after washing & just scrunch the front. With your waves bet you'll enjoy. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY
She is amazing. When I first started going to her my hair was almost black and straw-like from box dye. She has given me amazing cuts and color correction when I needed it most.
Wow wow ! Love it ,so interesting how we get the Pixie thing and venture out and change it up! Some people want me to keep it longer but I really enjoy the shorter versions. I actually jumped right in ,playing with styles . For me this whole thing was an inner deal.Freedom, confidence and personal style.Oh and my checkbook said yippie from the Blonde thing.
I have the super thick hair too. And it's wavy. So there's no lack of volume-or insulation! I got an undercut last spring because of brain surgery. The surgery was a huge success and I'm doing great. I loved the undercut while it was short and thought about keeping it, but since we we've been on lockdown so much I just let it grow out. I have a 3" section under my upper-back length hair. Yours looks very punk and cool!
I'm finally growing out my pixie after ten years. (It was either that or shave my head when quarantine started.) You look so good, and my determination to keep growing my hair out is faltering ... I probably shouldn't be watching this right now. I am in love with this cut of yours, though!
Your hair came out awesome! I used to sport short pixies to longer pixies in the early to late 2000's and loved to have some fun with my hairstyles and wore the fun colors. After 2010 decided to grow it long to my waist sported that for a while and just recently chopped it down to a bob and letting the gray hair come in 🤪 am excited to see my patterns of salt n pepper coming in. Anyways love your hair!
@@CarrieJessica Yup sure do...I used to be a hairstylist, for me the hair had to bright, wild, funky, spikey and bouffantish lol... even though I do not take clients anymore I still take care of my hair and there's still that inner wanting for those spikes again lol!
Your hair looks great! I’ve been growing out my gray and in August I had my stylist cut my hair to a pixie to get rid of the color. I had never had a pixie before and I loved it at first but then decided it’s not for me and now I’m growing it out to chin length bob. Take care & be safe 💕
I have very fine thin hair from yrs and yrs (I’m 73) of dying my hair and during this past year I’ve let the grey take over. I would love a pixie but I’m afraid my hair is too thin to do that, sure wish I had the nerve, my ponytail is dk brown, the rest grey! It looks horrid! Love your cut!
Looks fantastic! I've had my pixie for almost five years. For about the first year I would get it a little shorter each time and it was really exciting! Would you try cutting the top short? You have a beautiful face for it and it grows fast!
I had my hair in a relaxer, dyed blue black, sides faded and top in a furry looking flat top with it longish in the back. 80's...... the place to go for such looks...... ASTOR HAIRCUTTERS!
New sub from Peru 😊🌸 I just discovered five grays in my head and I'm planning not to colour my hair, I want to keep it natural and I'm glad I'm finding awesome channels with gray hair women ✨ Sorry for my bad english, greetings from Lima!
It wasn't until I shaved my head for a friend that had cancer, did a realize my hair grows forward like my Daddy's.... because I looked like the son he never had! I would love to do this to my hair... but right now I'm still doing the grow out..... I LOVE having my HAR DID.... but I also love it long.... Now if it would just grow 5" over night...
You have a beautiful face and gorgeous gray hair. I do feel due to the super short sides that it's more butch than pixie but you're so feminine you do it well.
Thank you. If you're using "butch" to describe the actual haircut, from stylist standards a butch haircut is cut short at every dimension, about 1/2 inch at the top and 1/4 everywhere else. I personally have an undercut pixie that I prefer to style in a pompadour or quiff. It has been interesting to see that people have very specific ideas of what a pixie is and isn't, even amongst some stylists.
I liked the bulk! It made me think of styles you could rock like Trinity from the Matrix. This is a segue, but, my thing now is, to seek God because of the uncertainty of our times. We can always look to Him!
I have a very similar hair cut, texture and color to what you had before you went for a cut. I love it, I have been growing out my grey for past 2ish years and its salt and pepper but more pepper :( Did you change any hair products since you went pixie till now? Any recommendations for oily roots after 2 days of no wash ? Are you using blue or purple shampoo yet? Thanks in advance. Love your channel
I use a lot of shampoo and conditioners with apple cider vinegar and that keeps my silvers pretty bright. If you check the description box my favorites should be in my amazon store. I do use different stylers for my pixie when its more straight verses when its wavy/curly, I have those in that Amazon store too. For oily roots I really like Design Me Hair foam dry shampoo.
It makes you look younger! Wow..you go girl!

That 2and cut is gorgeous, looks beautiful 👍🏼
Your hairdresser is great! So confident 👍 🤗

@@CarrieJessica I like women with short hair pixie cuts are sexy on women
I even liked the hair stylist bob that looked awesome.

lovely colour, you are blessed xx
Thank you! 😊
You have the most amazing hair to start with and what ever you do is incrediable 😊

I'm so happy your surgery was successful! I told my kids if we go back on lock down they'll all get a turn clipping moms undercut 😂
I love it, again! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yay, thank you!
I like this so much more than the last. Looks like you can style this more easily :)
It's so much fun. I recorded styling it today so that should be up tomorrow. It's a fun pompadour / faux hawk vibe and I LOVEIT.
This cut looks amazing on you!
Looks great!!!!! Yes, I wish my hair was thick like yours 😌
Thank you! It feels so good.
I love the cut as well as the color. I’m growing out the gray and cut it into a pixie. I love it and will keep the cut for a while.
I love my gray pixie, I am so glad you're loving yours too!
😮 whoa.. looks good
Thank you.

Ohh I loved some of my grow out hair styles. Chin length asymmetrical bob was probably my best hair.
It looks so cute 😍
Gorgeous 🇬🇧🤩xx
Your hair looks like mine ! Thick & wavy ..and yes white & gray mixed in . I just did the big chop last year & I love it !! ❤️
If I had your stylist, I’d be a lot happier with my pixie.
Color is really nice. Cut is good if you're wanting a "masculine" look.
Looks great!
Thank you
Looks amazing Carrie! Suits you very well 😄
I have a pixie cut!! I love it!!

I’ve seen some very cute super short styles on finer thin hair. Have you checked online? Maybe talk about ideas and expectations with your stylist.
Beautiful

It is so great to see gray hair becoming more normalized. It's a beautiful color that is fun to embrace.

The good thing is that my hair grows very fast. I won't even have time to miss it before its back to that length. I do love Trinity!!

Think you could go even shorter on top for a proper Faux - you would look amazing
It’s still too much hair on the top
