@@CityWander Could you tell me what you use to film these city wander videos? I want to record places I like to take walks and drives just for me to remember.
Horticulture transfer student spring 94. I lived in Vawter first semester then off campus to then what was College Park on Patrick Henry Dr until I graduated in May 99. Soooo much has changed since with all the new buildings, but many good and not so good memories!! The snowball fights, the casual bike rides, hanging at the duck pond or catching a baseball game after class, walking/biking to class on any given day with wet hair and having it freeze by the time you got to class, attending just about every football game in Lane. Rushing the field in 95? after beating Miami for the first time 13-7, The coming of Michael Vick, Being in Cassell Stadium when Travis Jackson’s 3 pointer beat New Mexico State in the NIT semi’s in 94. Thank you 🙏 Go Hokies!!
I attended Virginia Tech my freshman year 1982-1983. Total cost - tuition, room & board - was about $3,000. I lived in Femoyer Hall, which I think was about 26:56 point. I don't think it is used as a dormitory anymore. My family moved from Virginia to Mississippi in March, 1983, so I transferred to the University of Mississippi - a culture shock.
Wonderful walking tour, you have a great channel because you walk along very interesting places like this Polytechnic Institute and you do in an immersive way, I love it, New YT friend 🔔👍
I just found this. It's a beautiful walking tour, except for one thing that disappointed me. The April 16th Memorial was simply grazed by with barely an accidental glimpse of its edge. That memorial is sacred and one of the most important parts of campus. I was expecting the video person to at least walk past it and give it a scan. I quit watching after that.

At 14:00, walk the memorial. Every single person was special and important. They will never be forgotten.
The Virginia Tech campus is consistently rated as one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Your video did it justice!
Thank you so much for saying that and for giving it a watch! 🤗💚👍
Graduated in 2014. Thanks for the upload! Now when I'm missing VT I can watch this and remember
