Seen them in Milwaukee recently. My all time favorite band that is out there today, considering there is so much crap floating around as music nowadays. Great concert.
In case you didn't know, "malo" is Spanish for "bad". But Raul does not live up to being bad. Raul Malo and The Mavericks kick the ass of every New Kid On The Block! The Mavericks are the ones who really got the right stuff!
I have a close relative who was at Royal Albert Hall (London) in 1998-99, The crowd went wild. one of the best shows she has ever seen even to this day, I believe it is on you tube A definite watch.

Robert Reynolds (bass player, founding member, and the first one to converse with Stephanie ) may have felt blessed to be in the band, but that would last only another 20 months, which is when they kicked him to the curb and didn't replace him.
Raul always looks like he is happy and having fun being with his men and the audience. Wonderful.
