Just saw these guys in Dayton Ohio. Best show ever! My wife didn’t know much about them, said it was one of the best she’s seen, now has a Mavericks Pandora station!

"Dance The Night Away" should have been a huge U.S. hit but Nashville betrayed the best country band in the last 30 years and didn't support them .
Massive everywhere else ,top 10 in the uk .
Nashville went to the dogs 60+ years ago along with RCA, WB and other big name recording Co. But out of that wreck came the highway man like Waylon, Buck Owens/Merle Hagard Bakersfield beat, Jonny Cash, TexMex Tornado style, Tejano, SVR Blues/Jazz Rock and so so so many other great artist. Nashville and big name recording studios never kept the finger on the vibes outside their cushy pampered studios. 1970 era movement began to roll across the US from mid east, Texas, west coast and whirlwind in the turquoise circute and the friggin big wiggs kept their friggin blinders on with their index fingers stuck in every hole in their body!
'Dance the Night Away" should have been a mega hit here in the USA. Sadly, the song just isn't low brow enough for today's American tatste.
