And once the subconscious is convinced that "oh this is real" than it kicks in its own mojo.

I make separation of magical systems that are self-conscious of themselves and systems based on dogmatism and superstition that arent self-conscious like hoodoo and most african magic or the "magical side" of religions (which i wouldnt consider "magic" but it definetly is based on the same). I have never taken part in a ceremony like this (just tradition without conscious rites involved), but in the end this is exactly like mass or such ceremonies: you go, pay your tribute to your beliefs and return home. i wouldnt call that magic but i would say its an exercise that is probably very useful to strengthen magical acts in the future
I think this might have been an 'example' of a Neophyte initation ritual, and not an actual initiation itself. I also noticed a few clumsy gestures being made by those of adepts which definitely cheapened the performance for me as well, and I don't think the ritual achieves its full effect when being recorded for all to see on UA-cam...
It's a purity ritual, so sometimes before doing a LBRP, taking a bath and letting the water drain before you get out - with the idea that you're washing away unwanted influences or even your own negative thinking - can help too. Personally, I don't dress up, but sometimes (on special occasions like solstice or whatever..) No. According to Alpha et Omega ritual in use for a Century, the initial banishing is performed first, then the temple is reoriented magically. This is why the LBRP in the film is performed facing Cardinal (actual) East.
@TheGenesisarcanum a couple of things actually, but in this case it cleanses the temple space in preparation for additional ritual work (think of a teacher getting ready to work on a dry erase board, they first remove all traces of marker on the board, giving themselves a clean workspace)

I agree, when I perform the LBRP I put so much energy and emotion into it. Even the vibrated Hebrew words of power seem more alive when I do it. It's one of the first rituals you learn, however when ever I do it things happen and changes in the environment are felt. It seems here as though they have lost the enthusiasm, drive, energy and magick. On watching this video I felt nothing.

You don't have to be GD to do the LBRP. Some say you can do self-initiation and I have to say that from my experience I don't think so. You see all those people on the dais? They are there for a reason. It takes another human consciousness to play the role of the people on that dais. It takes another human consciousness to act as a conduit of the deity they represent. You aren't going to get that by watching movie. Look at all those other people, all gathered there that night to initiate you. That's quite a sight to behold when it's for real and that blindfold comes off. It's a shock to your system that you will never get from watching a movie. It took me several days to recover and it will change the course of your life. Some of them you will like and others not so much, but that is the way of everything. That's everyday life and no amount of magick is ever going to change that. If you want to work within those boundaries nearly anything is possible at a price. Sometimes the costs aren't clear so be careful of what you wish for. You might get it.

The instructions to LBRP are to begin facing east of the temple so why would he begin facing west ? Toxic Lucidity i totally agree. chaotes contemplate it like it isnt even possible to exert succesful magical acts without being able to control a state of gnosis. I make separation of magical systems that are self-conscious of themselves and systems based on dogmatism and superstition that arent self-conscious like hoodoo and most african magic or the "magical side" of religions (which i wouldnt consider "magic" but it definetly is based on the same). I have never taken part in a ceremony like this (just tradition without conscious rites involved), but in the end this is exactly like mass or such ceremonies: you go, pay your tribute to your beliefs and return home. i wouldnt call that magic but i would say its an exercise that is probably very useful to strengthen magical acts in the future
I think this might have been an 'example' of a Neophyte initation ritual, and not an actual initiation itself. I also noticed a few clumsy gestures being made by those of adepts which definitely cheapened the performance for me as well, and I don't think the ritual achieves its full effect when being recorded for all to see on UA-cam...

It's a purity ritual, so sometimes before doing a LBRP, taking a bath and letting the water drain before you get out - with the idea that you're washing away unwanted influences or even your own negative thinking - can help too. No. According to Alpha et Omega ritual in use for a Century, the initial banishing is performed first, then the temple is reoriented magically. This is why the LBRP in the film is performed facing Cardinal (actual) East.
@TheGenesisarcanum a couple of things actually, but in this case it cleanses the temple space in preparation for additional ritual work (think of a teacher getting ready to work on a dry erase board, they first remove all traces of marker on the board, giving themselves a clean workspace)

I agree, when I perform the LBRP I put so much energy and emotion into it. Even the vibrated Hebrew words of power seem more alive when I do it. It's one of the first rituals you learn, however when ever I do it things happen and changes in the environment are felt. It seems here as though they have lost the enthusiasm, drive, energy and magick. On watching this video I felt nothing.

You don't have to be GD to do the LBRP. Some say you can do self-initiation and I have to say that from my experience I don't think so. You see all those people on the dais? They are there for a reason. It takes another human consciousness to play the role of the people on that dais. It takes another human consciousness to act as a conduit of the deity they represent. You aren't going to get that by watching movie. Look at all those other people, all gathered there that night to initiate you. That's quite a sight to behold when it's for real and that blindfold comes off. It's a shock to your system that you will never get from watching a movie. It took me several days to recover and it will change the course of your life. Some of them you will like and others not so much, but that is the way of everything. That's everyday life and no amount of magick is ever going to change that. If you want to work within those boundaries nearly anything is possible at a price. Sometimes the costs aren't clear so be careful of what you wish for. You might get it.

We did not publish this rite to align the magical currents of the cardinal directions on UA-cam as it still remains secret and unprofaned within the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega!

Sadly, there are many blinds demonstrated here just as in 99.9% of the GD published material. The QC, the elemental directions, the placement of the Archangels, the direction of the circle, the pentagrams themselves..all have various blinds...the justification for leading so many astray is that only those “worthy” will find the truth...

The instructions to LBRP are to begin facing east of the temple so why would he begin facing west ? I hear him say in the video "face with me the actual east " but the E banner is on other side of the temple etc . Was this just a mistake or did u do it that way to get better camera angle ? Yes it does, and there are no more GD temples. This one and all others are inspired and executed by adepts of the GD system, and some are adapted or changed.
