It's quite likely that amongst the massive amount of ximmers that got banned on console, some of them decided to switch and cheat on PC
They're harder to get rid of than cockroaches.
The ximmers haven't been banned yet, trust me there's still sooooo many. In the last 3 seasons the amount has just increased tenfold. Blizzard does very little to console reports....
@@franciscodoocarreira8779 he's references the fact that blizzard, did in fact, announce they would be implementing a change that's supposed to detect 3rd party devices pretending to be controllers.
it hasn't launched yet, it'll be introduced in season 11 and it will only ban ximmers from competitive play for 1 week, if they detect the player is continuing to xim in quickplay they'll get a season long competitive ban and be forced into quickplay lobbies with other ximmers, as well as have their aim assist disabled.
reason it's not going to be an outright ban is because ximming isn't out right illegal or against TOS for Sony, a lot of accessibility controllers, including Sony's own official ones, use similar software to trick the console into believing it's a controller.
let's be honest, anyone ximming on console probably doesn't have the money to afford a PC in the first place.

Cheating never made any sense to me at all. We play to improve and hope to become skilled eventually but when you cheat you just say to everyone “I’m way too ass to improve” and take the easy way out
The way people talk online it's more like they play, complain and hope the character that whoops their ass gets nerfed.

I swear to god I was thinking the same, I never met so many cheaters as these days. I find them a lot as a diamond/masters player.
I use to be a cs 1.6 admin for many years, you see much of the same stuff over and over in FPS's. This guy is using a toggle-aim(that Soj earlier on), so every time he hits the button it locks onto target but when he flicks it off he shoots normally. That is why you see that weird angled motion halfway through the shot like you are describing.
That's messed up as hell. I can't believe they can't fix this issue. Had similar problems in QP as you're having in comp except we're seeing more of them.

I played 7 games yesterday and had 2 cheaters as well. They arent even trying to hide it; just watching people through walls.
I had cheaters hard locking in quick play that same day it took over a day for me to get the message that action was taken
Dude, I've been seeing this kind of soft lock but pixel perfect tracking in killcams since S10 dropped in quick play matches. And a noticeable amount in a few games per session. On EU.
I just report and let the system decide. I feel vindicated when I log on and get that delicious message that "an action occurred because of your report".

I watch enough high level OW content to know that no one is that good. I'm glad you are doing an in depth look at replays, it's glaringly obvious once you focus on it.

its so funny to me that these people actually think the ONLY thing standing between them and being a top player is busted aim mechanics. Like bro you don't realize how wrong you are, you could have the best aim in the world and you will still get punished for bad positioning and gameplay like you're a little kid compared to the real thing
And they're all using streamer protection to hide behind an anonymous name, because they dont want to be recognized across multiple games as a potential cheater. I feel like the streamer protection almost introduced more issues than it solved honestly.
They are clearly alt tabbing to turn off their music, that's why they play better afterwards 🙃

Crazy. I played just this past week and in my open que comp game ran into a cheater. So unexpected that it wasn't until their pog that I thought "either this dude has the crustiest mouse or he's cheating" tbh, it was a low elo lobby so I worry no one else caught it. but it was the same weird shutter snap. What is going on!?!?
It's possible that Brabus may have been hacking, but keep in mind that the replays don't account for server-side lag compensation, spikes in latency, packet loss, etc. What you see from a player's perspective in a replay isn't necessarily pixel-for-pixel what the player saw, nor what the server used to calculate hits and misses.

Actually cheating with aimbotting is more frequentlly happend in Asia server. And the most pathetic truth is that it happens no matter in high rank or low rank. Not even to talk about trolling, we deal with this kind of situation like 1 in 3 games always.

Maybe Blizz should do what some other games are doing. When they find a cheater flag that account/IP address as a cheater. From then on, whenever they play they are only put in lobbies with other flagged cheaters. Let them hack each other to death! If they play comp, they lose progress for each game they play regardless of their win/loss record. They all lose progress. I think thats funny!

i quit overwatch for now today. Most of games are like this everyday i try to play. Cheaters everywhere.
Yet blizzard keep having only 3 avoids per week to use against them. Also cheater reports from non streamers and normal players never get done under month ether.

I genuinely think cheats have been made free. I have seen way to many in METAL ranks and typically what you will notice is they overcompensate aim by moving their mouse. They only hit shots when they leave their mouse fully still which you can see before/after engagements.
u can tell sojourn is cheating bc they are going for headshots

Right after I watched this video, I hopped on to play some quickplay matches and encountered a cheater. :< Thought that they were really nice cause they kept saying thanks while us supports kept healing them as tank but the POTG was so obvious with the aimbotting. Unfortunate that I immediately endorsed them before watching it so I didn't know they were cheating cause if I had known, no endorsement would have been given.
You should see the shameless cheating going on in quick play too. It's disgusting!
That's why qp's got so sweaty in OW2: free game, unlimited accounts to make, jump in the game and test your cheats without being meaninfully punished because you just make another account if one is banned.
I reported a player yesterday for cheating (triggerbotting) and the next day I got the "thank for reporting" message.
My only report for the day, in a qp, was validated by the system.

Cheating is rampant in this game. Been harassed for months by pedo/incel cheater and OW silence me for always calling him out. They seem to been fine with both the pedo and cheater aspect. I left.

Maybe I'm lame. If you let me judge, I can't tell that's cheating. Aimbots did improved a lot.
they have gotten less snappy, what you have to look for now is the unnatural tracking, and the microsnaps that don't follow mouse movement.
Its most obvious on heroes that have a rythm to their shooting, like cassidy, where its just constant flicks, very little tracking. But on sojourn's rail you can see it too, how in this vid there isnt really any flicks, its more like the crosshair just gets magnetised to the head. Microadjustments might be possible on super low sens, you see them in a game like valorant for example, but even there they are far slower, less accurate, and follow a path.
the shots the sojourn does are more rigid, they interupt the aim style, and there is no build up. Think about the circular pattern cass players shoot in, or the massive flicks widow players use. If they microadjust, its very small, during the middle of the flick, and never at the end, cause you can't react that fast.
Go and look at the rail shots they do on sojourn. You can see how the whole screen snaps, a tiny amount, really quickly, the moment the sojourn presses rail. Thats the tell. When we aim, we register the position, we start the flick, we get to the position, and shoot. The screen doesnt snap, it flings, as we drag back to start the flick, and shoots across as we flick toward the target.

Console can't play comp with PC, and PC players who use controller do not get aim assist. Also yeah controller doesn't look like that
As a master player on console, I’ve never seen anyone flicking like that besides cheaters and ximmers
