I lived in this room during the Fall semester and now I have moved to another different room~

Also, I realised that there are a lot of repeated questions about the dorm rates, dorm rules, how to get the room, and many other questions related to the dormitory. I am so sorry that I cannot answer all of your questions because even if I answer each one of you, I believe there will be more responses to what I said. I am only a student here and I DON'T even know the 'accurate information' about the dorms whether it is about the rules, price, etc. Hence, I recommend you guys to visit the dormitory website to find your answers! It is also better if you send an e-mail to the dormitory management team for further inquiries. This is dormitory website : reslife.korea.ac.kr
Remember to check the room rates based on your degree (undergraduate/graduate students).

Quick question, out to the void, if maybe someone knows: what are the chances of getting a dorm room ?? In general, as an international student. :S I'm going to KUBS next semester and really don't know if it even worths applying for it, I heard there are barely any europeans getting them... Someone help?

can you tell us what about the Dormitory fee and all, I have seen some video the monthly allowance will be not that sufficient for Korea University dormitory especially because it ranges almost 750-1500 USD and that is similar to monthly allowance 9,00,000-10,00,000. KRW can you tell us about the Dormitory fee and details in your next video.

What's the difference in cost between a single dorm and the one that you share? 😊
Hi i wonder how you get that separate room? I mean i saw that in one room might have double room and another separate room together. So how you get that? Is it the provision of uni that this person have to stay in this room or it's you and your roommate negotiation?

Hey can you tell me a little about the rules in the dorm? I heard there sometimes is a curfew and no guests from the opposite gender is allowed 😅
The cost for single room like that is around 500K won per month right?? 😧

Hi! In CJ there is no curfew and due to corona, no guests are allowed to visit students now (including parents). Also you’re right that mixed gender visit is prohibited :) we are currently not allowed to visit other dorms as well as different floors of the same building. The rules are kinda strict nowadays.. hope it answers!

As someone coming from the US is it easy to make friends in Korea, how are the classes, the environment etc. Is it good to know some Korean before you go? hey, weird question but are taxis able to drive you all the way up the hill?? i’m going to ku next sem and am really considering the same single room but i have really bad stamina so i don’t think i can walk up the long hill after a long day 😭

YES! I wanna know that too! Bcs most of other student i see only living in twin bed room. Shared room and it just very small..just in case maybe the houses need to paid more or the college really serve the houses

hi, do you have to pay for your meals or are they included in the dorm fee? ‘cause some of the universities in Korea do that, also is it cheaper living in an apartment or dorms, if so then how?
Hi! There’s a cafetaria near the dorms (above CU), and you have to apply & pay for it separately from the dorm fee~

@@amiraheart9187 hi! I did sum research a while ago and it all depends on the area where you have your apartment, ofc its seoul so its pretty expensive and personally i feel like its better to be in a dorm(its under my budget) , but if you find an apartment for a reasonable price then go for it:)

I'll be 17 year old after graduating high school in june but you must apply for universities and scholarships in march which means I will waste a whole year to apply missing so many other opportunities and I was wondering if I could apply before my graduation or something
If you will be graduating HS in June, you can apply for the Fall semester admissions. Fall semester in Korea starts in September. Check the university’s site for the details (abt deadlines & doc requirements)

Hi I applied for the fall semester. When you were accepted they send you an email or something?
Hi! You can check the important dates on the dormitory website. Also, you can check your room number, room type and dormitory building there :)

Hey, nice video. May I ask how hard it is to get such a room. I also have to apply for a dorm room and really want a single one, but on the KU site there was only the 4-single room dorm that has single rooms, so I was wondering what the changes are that you get accepted to be in this room?
Hi! Thanks for stepping in to my channel :) Actually I don't know how to answer your question accurately but, we are assigned randomly by the dormitory management team (?) I got my room switched last December (I am in another room now) and turns out that I got another 4-single room suit again for my current room. So... I have no idea like what made me to be assigned in a 4 bedroom suite twice in a row 🤔🤔 I guess luck? haha anw I'm so sorry I don't know how to get this room. Hope it answers :)
You must apply before semester started. The cost is quite expensive. If you have deposit money, better to rent outside campus. You may get cheaper price.
Does KU university allow 4 students to live together in single room?
Hi! I believe yes, because it is what supposed to be so yeah~
There are several type of room in KU dorm. Single, double and triple. I cannot remember if they have room for 4. You can check thru their website.

Hi! Single gender :) even floors and elevators are separated by gender! But as what I know, for Spring semester and Fall semester there are only girls in CJ. Hope it answers~
