Seele x Bronya forever. Even Hoyoverse gets this and makes them not only good friends in Star Rail too, but even inseparable as a team comp. Running Seele alongside Bronya is absolutely busted and seeing Seele slam targets faster than a Seawiz is so much fun. I was hilariously happy when I saw her achievement pop up on my screen yesterday

The funny thing about her is that although she is a hunt character that likes to play erudition, she is still a hunt character, so her single target dmg is just high enough for her to not rely on resurgence. That's what makes her hard to powercreep, IMO.
After loosing 50/50 to Welt and getting her in the next 4 pulls - I went from having fun, to having a BLAST. This girl carried me through SU World 4 on Autobattle and last night almost clapped World 5 and Hall 12. Star Rail is such a pleasant surprise so far.
Pulled Welt and Gepard in the same 10 pull! Those two with Seele is such a well rounded team. Welt lets seele take so many turns in a row and that chunky geppie shield means I don't need a healer.
Really nice video!! I hope we can see some of this in depth Character guides with more characters like the ones that are in the permanent banner, it would be very useful

Really good guide on Seele, especially in term of team comp and cones. Personally dont have Bronya, so running her with Nat, Tingyun and Asta, cuz have Asta Eidolon for not losing stacks after ult. The dmg is really good, just missing the "moving" from Bronya. Will probably drop some penny to get her Light cone later. Wasnt decided for 100% but this guide has covered everything i needed to know. Thanks man
Sadly I don't have bronya or tingyun yet but I found actually using her in a turtle team works really well. I have been running fire MC, nat, march with her and it pretty much makes content easy mode. The only issue I ran into is getting stars in forgotten halls can be kinda tough but swap the fire MC for erudition that can exploit the weakness fixes that.
@@sSerris just keep playing until you get her. shouldnt take too long. otherwise until then i would just run either of the buffing characters (asta , bronya, tingyun) because march natasha will keep you alive anyways or another damage dealer. For story where you wand alot of elements i would say asta , arlan or serval personally until you get one of the others
YESS! I've been waiting for this! I just did 20 warps randomly yesterday and actually got her so I'm glad I have a lot more guides to watch... So excited to see how far I can take my Seele

Can confirm. I’m only Rank 22 leve 40 but I got Bronya from Beginner Banner and Seele is as Cracked as the screen gets when you enter combat. That feeling of letting Seele hit enemies for at least 5 times in a row is just such a beautiful thing. Seems even in other universes the two of them will always be an item lmao
Asta's speed buff + the "Dance, Dance, Dance" Light Cone are completely insane for Seele. I got a lucky Bronya pull on the Beginner's Banner as well. That team is busted and Natasha can heal more than enough to run it.
I remember her being very strong in Honkai Impact 3rd too, she combos enemies nonstop, it was crazy. She introduced the quantum element to the game and she was so fricking good. Now I get to play her again, but in an alternate universe, and she's still cracked.
So about the tech 0:31, I've tested this. It does show the resurgence icon if you kill and immediately activate the ultimate BUT with or without the icon active still result in the same damage so the ultimate technically didn't get buffed.
That's because the ultimate always activates the resurgence buff before it deals damage. There's a different tech you can use where if Seele can't kill an enemy that turn to get the damage buff you can use her ultimate which will apply the damage buff for the ultimate and for the rest of Seele's turn. You can also tell at a glance if the buff is active by looking at her scythe. If the scythe is glowing then the damage buff is active
Asta is really good if you don't have too many characters as she has decent synergy with Seele. She's more than a really good fire unit, her ult buffs speed and her attacks give the whole team a stacking attack buff that helps Seele do way more damage faster. For bosses Pela might be better if you have her because Seele can be a bit of a glass cannon and you want to avoid bosses being able to stack tons of damage buffs and one shotting her and she also weakens defence which plays well into a character like Seele.

I got Seele on the 79th pull and was saving for the next limited banner but after watching your video and some other I decide to pull for her light cone and I got it first multi so thank you for the encouragement (the free one is good but there need to be mob to kill)
I had to splurge a bit to get her and you know what? I'm glad. Limited myself to not pass the soft-pity and it worked. Was pretty lucky to get her Light Cone from the 10 pull we got with the concert event. Surprised me for sure. She's a fun unit on the field because now you're playing a mini-game of chess trying to let her reap and tear. Also, that aesthetic? Come one...Scythes and butterflies are meant to be.

You forgot about the light cone- Only Silence Remains which i'm using on her and gives her atk 16% and if there are 2 or fewer enemies on field increases her crit rate by 12%
FYI attack increases stack additively, while damage increase multiplicatively, thus make subscribes for more so much better than crusing in the stellar sea when you have proper buffs stacked up on seele.
in my opinion, her eidolons buff are mostly aimed for her capability to face off against bosses, since she mostly have to one-hit kill to make the most out of her skills. Even her E6 is clearly useful for thick enemies like bosses.
I wish I had Bronya. Definitely my most wanted Standard banner character. So far my team is Seele, Welt, Fire Trailblazer and Tingyun. It works pretty well with Welt buffing damage done and helping with breaks. Dream team is Seele/Bronya/Tingyun/Bailu
@@mirko8999 Healers are uneccesary in a comp like this. Enemies barely get a turn, and when they so shields can easily tank it. I haven't had a single ally die in any activity since I started running this team. And by now I've pulled Bronya and gone full damage. You don't need to heal if they don't live long enough to hit you.
@@mirko8999 You can however easily out damage them. While true that you will get hit, it's simply not an issue. I haven't had a single death in either Forgotten Hall, Simulated Universe or Weekly Bosses. Kill them before they kill you, and Seele is the gal for the job.
One thing about queing your ult is that's really only useful if the skill gives you enough energy to ult. If you already have a full energy bar and can kill off of an ult then just ult right away. So instead of Skill, Ult, Resurgence, Resurgence it would go Ult, Resurgence, Skill, Resurgence. 3 attacks to gain energy putting you at 90 energy or 1 skill away from being able to ult again.
Not how it works. You can only use resurgence once per turn, but by queuing her ult mid way through your skill allows her to get 2 resurgence if you kill with your ult aswell. If you do it how you are saying (Ult, res, skill, res.) the second res won’t activate because. The only time you can do that is if it’s on a different characters turn and you use her ult to kill to get res and then it switched to her turn and she can get res again otherwise it would only trigger once
Any chance of also including the percentages of the differences for the lightcones? That’s a big thing hoping for in these videos, it helps so much and this channel was the absolute best for that in Genshin. Seele is my absolute favorite unit in star rail already and really curious on the difference between her sig Lightcone and any other? Sorry if it’s a lot of work..
It's REALLY hard to come up with accurate numbers when simming in this game so it's more like a *range* of percentage, for example In The Night ended up anywhere between 10-24% better than Only Silence Remains in CBT3 when personally sheeted Seele. That said I'll definitely look into it for future guides.
The hunt path gets pretty insane as well I just started and the critical boost is ridiculous when max stacks are built up I had Seele with 125 crit rate and 225 crit dmg
Hope all Seele wanters will be Seele havers ❤ We've won Seele's 50/50, and will get her Lightcone today ☺ She's super fun to play, and also having Bronya is massive. Very glad that I got her, and funny enough was also thinking of running her with Silver Wolf in the future
Been playing Seeele since day 1 and learned some really important points. 1) her attack is not follow-up attack (going to stop prioritizing the follow-up buffs in Universe) and 2) you can spam to actually get her ultimate between her resurgence (need to verify, but wow).
I ended up with a pretty stacked Pela because she was on the banner, and I've found the def break super useful with Seele. I don't have Bronya or Tingyun, so I can't compare value. But I feel like Pela really helps smooth things out with the def break, and I'd probably pair Pela with Seele and one (or both) of those buffers if I had them. I know you mentioned Pela in the comment, but I figured I'd toss in my 2 cents. Great video!
reading this i went to pull for pela... only to get another seele with 20 pity. first i got her in my first single pull and got her light cone in like 70 pulls and well... idk if i should be happy or not at this point bruh

I was pulling early into my primary acc and lost my 50/50 to Gepard, who I already pulled from the starter banner so my only 5 star that wasn’t mc was E1 Gepard. Started my alt account early and pulled her on my 5th limited banner pull so I’ll be staying there, and this guide has helped point me in the right direction for what i should focus on as I advance
For those who end up missing Seele, Yanqing essentially does the same thing as her but for Bosses. His Crit DMG/Rate is so high that he can outright ignore shields to deal thousands of damage with his Ult. I’m not joking when I say that I’ve one-shot bosses with him.
Spoilers: I feel like the Luofu area sorta becomes a Venti situation in genshin 🤔 since some of the enemies revive, and it doesn’t count as a kill, Seele’s resurgence doesn’t activate. But you can’t just leave them alone either, especially if she’s the only damage dealer on the team (like mine lol).
it's doesn't matter, seele damage is still the highest and won't get replace anytime soon. can guarantee that. beside the enemy is just weak mob and can be kill easilly with any units
@@Konpekikaminari idk what you mean is dispellable because it's not a buff and more like enemy talent so as i played maar enemy always rebirth after first death however this rebirth things probably only certain gimmick for mara type only and pretty sure in the future there is no chance that every enemy have rebirth ability. so it basically ignorable, same with jingyuan that have slow speed, still need kill the enemy twice for this kind of gimmick. then who is win? absolutely the one have higher dps and higher speed would win this gimmick especially in Memory of Chaos
Seele is the only gacha character from hoyoverse games that let me taste what it's like to experience early pity (Got her before 40 pity) But then again, I got Bronya in the beginner banner so maybe that's why she came home so early.
Got Yanqing from the beginner banner, and then got Seele in my first 10 pull.... She likes Yanqing more than bronya somehow, or is she just wants to make Yanqing her new rival?
i really hope u look at this ngl but uh everyone says tingyuns best set is 4 piece musketeer and im looking at it since i can farm golds and 12% atk and the speed help her buffing but her skill says atk% so the 10% basic attack dmg doesn't provide any value on her, in my opinion i dont like sets that cant show the full value on units so im running 2 piece guard 2 piece musketeer cause i notice even though she is one of my higher level units and even though she doesn't get targeted that much she is pretty much always the one to die first. also i feel as though the 6% speed bonus doesn't help unless you are 125+ speed and that is simply way to hard to get without speed boots this early on and im tryna max her skill buff so i need atk their im also running sprightly Vonwacq (the simulated universe set for 5% energy regen) i kinda wanna know others thoughts on this Note // im just copy pasting this so more people can see it cause i truly think its her best build with the sets we currently have //

As time goes on is it going to be less tedious farming with Seele and managing her Resurgence strikes, or just wiping our groups with an AOE character (such as potentially Jing Yuan)?
Doesn't her ultimate immediately apply the buff before doing damage? So you dont need to kill something first just to get the buff for her ultimate. Thus the most energy efficient way is to use her ultimate first.
@@cybele4452 Usually the barrier bot mobs came with 1 / 2 other weaker mobs. If you have enough damage, you could kill the other mob first with her skill and get the resurgence buff. Then you do another skill into ult for resets and do another skill into aa. Another situation if you didn't have enough damage on Seele, is just to have another aoe ult ready(e.g. Pela, Himeko, fire MC, etc). Do the ult first then proceed with Seele's combo.
Those type enemies are anti every single dmg dealer...but if there are dps with consistent output dps rather than relying on passive like selee then that one will better... For example you can replace her with yanqing for better dmg but just dont get hit...if enemy got AOE attack then dont use yanqing...also currently idk if any dps 4* can outdamage 5* character
bronya actually isnt that strong with her, cause giving an additional turn to a high speed unit is not that strong obviously. bronyas buffs are also tied to seele's turns which is weak cause her turns are very fast. seele is best paired with buffs and debuffs that aren't tied to seele. for example asta's passive isn't tied to her which makes it a great buff for seele (but it's often hard to stack), tingyun's benediction buff is also tied to tingyun's turns which makes it very great for seele (her ult is tied to seele though, but it's still pretty strong, same with asta's ult here); tingyun is also only giving out single target buffs which makes her great for seele, cause seele is usually played as a hypercarry. pela's debuffs are also not tied to seele which makes her pretty good. pela's ult debuffs all enemies which is great for aoe attacks usually but with how seele's passive and her high speed works it's still very very decent cause she will attack quite a lot of enemies usually either way during the 2 turns that pela's ult debuff works and you can fully use that debuff. welt is also fine cause he's great in any team kind of. usually you will go seele, 2 (de)buffers (one of which will pretty much always be tingyun tbh) and 1 healer or shielder or even just fire mc sometimes (there's no synergys with seele here tho, thus you will just use who's best against the enemies you're facing. most of the time it will probably be natasha or bailu cause it's safe to play healers); ocassionally you can also play 3 (de)buffers for fast clears or if you need very high damage somehow
got her in my first 10-pull on my alt account.. time to grind! :D (yes im switching accs, no i dont care that im already level 36 and cleared all story and areas and quests)

I just got her from a surprise first-time 50/50 win. As for her relics and lightcone, Dan Heng was happy enough to surrender his equipment, including a crit piece and plenty of ATK and Only Silence Remains to give Seele a great big damage buff. And boy she delivers. Kinda sad I don't have to strategize and wait months for her rerun......jk. Wanted her from the beginning, and got her. I know I'll be happy using her.
One point on Singers argument is that the drowning child is drowning in front of them. It is a lofe and death situation that they can change right then and there by partaking in the rescuing in the person. However, donating money and helping others through charity is not. People in developed countries and cities rarely see those who are that unfortunate as he had stated so honestly they wouldn’t feel morally obliged in helping. I believe it is the connection made when we come in contact, hear and speak to in real life that makes us feel morally obliged to save the drowning boy if we can swim.

I hear people use Skill then Ult a lot, but I usually use Ult then Skill (if ult is up) bc your Ult's ressurgence comes up AFTER your natural turn, so you benefit from your Ult's dmg buff for all 4 attacks.

She's more than a really good fire unit, her ult buffs speed and her attacks give the whole team a stacking attack buff that helps Seele do way more damage faster. For bosses Pela might be better if you have her because Seele can be a bit of a glass cannon and you want to avoid bosses being able to stack tons of damage buffs and one shotting her and she also weakens defence which plays well into a character like Seele.

I had to splurge a bit to get her and you know what? I'm glad. Limited myself to not pass the soft-pity and it worked. Was pretty lucky to get her Light Cone from the 10 pull we got with the concert event. Surprised me for sure.
She's a fun unit on the field because now you're playing a mini-game of chess trying to let her reap and tear. Also, that aesthetic? Come one...Scythes and butterflies are meant to be.

You forgot about the light cone- Only Silence Remains which i'm using on her and gives her atk 16% and if there are 2 or fewer enemies on field increases her crit rate by 12%

FYI attack increases stack additively, while damage increase multiplicatively, thus make subscribes for more so much better than crusing in the stellar sea when you have proper buffs stacked up on seele.

in my opinion, her eidolons buff are mostly aimed for her capability to face off against bosses, since she mostly have to one-hit kill to make the most out of her skills. Even her E6 is clearly useful for thick enemies like bosses.

So far my team is Seele, Welt, Fire Trailblazer and Tingyun. It works pretty well with Welt buffing damage done and helping with breaks.

@@mirko8999 Healers are uneccesary in a comp like this. Enemies barely get a turn, and when they so shields can easily tank it. I haven't had a single ally die in any activity since I started running this team.
And by now I've pulled Bronya and gone full damage.
You don't need to heal if they don't live long enough to hit you.

@@mirko8999 You can however easily out damage them. While true that you will get hit, it's simply not an issue. I haven't had a single death in either Forgotten Hall, Simulated Universe or Weekly Bosses.
Kill them before they kill you, and Seele is the gal for the job.

One thing about queing your ult is that's really only useful if the skill gives you enough energy to ult. If you already have a full energy bar and can kill off of an ult then just ult right away. So instead of Skill, Ult, Resurgence, Resurgence it would go Ult, Resurgence, Skill, Resurgence. 3 attacks to gain energy putting you at 90 energy or 1 skill away from being able to ult again.
Not how it works. You can only use resurgence once per turn, but by queuing her ult mid way through your skill allows her to get 2 resurgence if you kill with your ult aswell. If you do it how you are saying (Ult, res, skill, res.) the second res won’t activate because. The only time you can do that is if it’s on a different characters turn and you use her ult to kill to get res and then it switched to her turn and she can get res again otherwise it would only trigger once

It's REALLY hard to come up with accurate numbers when simming in this game so it's more like a *range* of percentage, for example In The Night ended up anywhere between 10-24% better than Only Silence Remains in CBT3 when personally sheeted Seele. That said I'll definitely look into it for future guides.
Her refinement 1 cone is 5-10% better than refinement 5 cruising in the stellar sea, if you dont trigger the 40%atk increase, it goes up to 30-35%
1:50 for easy queuing, use joypad and hold LT to pause the game and activate the ultimate
The hunt path gets pretty insane as well I just started and the critical boost is ridiculous when max stacks are built up I had Seele with 125 crit rate and 225 crit dmg

Been playing Seeele since day 1 and learned some really important points. 1) her attack is not follow-up attack (going to stop prioritizing the follow-up buffs in Universe) and 2) you can spam to actually get her ultimate between her resurgence (need to verify, but wow).
I ended up with a pretty stacked Pela because she was on the banner, and I've found the def break super useful with Seele. I don't have Bronya or Tingyun, so I can't compare value. But I feel like Pela really helps smooth things out with the def break, and I'd probably pair Pela with Seele and one (or both) of those buffers if I had them.
I know you mentioned Pela in the comment, but I figured I'd toss in my 2 cents. Great video!
reading this i went to pull for pela... only to get another seele with 20 pity. first i got her in my first single pull and got her light cone in like 70 pulls and well... idk if i should be happy or not at this point bruh

I was pulling early into my primary acc and lost my 50/50 to Gepard, who I already pulled from the starter banner so my only 5 star that wasn’t mc was E1 Gepard. Started my alt account early and pulled her on my 5th limited banner pull so I’ll be staying there, and this guide has helped point me in the right direction for what i should focus on as I advance
For those who end up missing Seele, Yanqing essentially does the same thing as her but for Bosses. His Crit DMG/Rate is so high that he can outright ignore shields to deal thousands of damage with his Ult. I’m not joking when I say that I’ve one-shot bosses with him.

I feel like the Luofu area sorta becomes a Venti situation in genshin 🤔 since some of the enemies revive, and it doesn’t count as a kill, Seele’s resurgence doesn’t activate. But you can’t just leave them alone either, especially if she’s the only damage dealer on the team (like mine lol).
use Pela for dispell. Her Ult also makes enemies squishier for Seele.
it's doesn't matter, seele damage is still the highest and won't get replace anytime soon. can guarantee that. beside the enemy is just weak mob and can be kill easilly with any units
Rebirth is dispellable, so Pela/Luocha/BP Hunt lightcone fix this issue
@@Konpekikaminari idk what you mean is dispellable because it's not a buff and more like enemy talent so as i played maar enemy always rebirth after first death however this rebirth things probably only certain gimmick for mara type only and pretty sure in the future there is no chance that every enemy have rebirth ability. so it basically ignorable, same with jingyuan that have slow speed, still need kill the enemy twice for this kind of gimmick. then who is win? absolutely the one have higher dps and higher speed would win this gimmick especially in Memory of Chaos

I got Seele in 6 pulls so I'm going all-out on Standard cause worst case scenario I get Bronya in the 300
i really hope u look at this ngl but uh everyone says tingyuns best set is 4 piece musketeer and im looking at it since i can farm golds and 12% atk and the speed help her buffing but her skill says atk% so the 10% basic attack dmg doesn't provide any value on her, in my opinion i dont like sets that cant show the full value on units so im running 2 piece guard 2 piece musketeer cause i notice even though she is one of my higher level units and even though she doesn't get targeted that much she is pretty much always the one to die first.
also i feel as though the 6% speed bonus doesn't help unless you are 125+ speed and that is simply way to hard to get without speed boots this early on and im tryna max her skill buff so i need atk their im also running sprightly Vonwacq (the simulated universe set for 5% energy regen)

You can actually get a special achievement called "My Turn" if seele able to attack 5turns continuously
Doesn't her ultimate immediately apply the buff before doing damage? So you dont need to kill something first just to get the buff for her ultimate. Thus the most energy efficient way is to use her ultimate first.

Hoyo already make the "anti-Seele" mob in the 2nd world. Those undying warriors just stops her from getting her resurgence / extra turns.
Those bots with barrier mobs is more than enough to stifle her snowball, does it not?
@@cybele4452 Usually the barrier bot mobs came with 1 / 2 other weaker mobs. If you have enough damage, you could kill the other mob first with her skill and get the resurgence buff. Then you do another skill into ult for resets and do another skill into aa.
Another situation if you didn't have enough damage on Seele, is just to have another aoe ult ready(e.g. Pela, Himeko, fire MC, etc). Do the ult first then proceed with Seele's combo.
Those type enemies are anti every single dmg dealer...but if there are dps with consistent output dps rather than relying on passive like selee then that one will better... For example you can replace her with yanqing for better dmg but just dont get hit...if enemy got AOE attack then dont use yanqing...also currently idk if any dps 4* can outdamage 5* character

bronya actually isnt that strong with her, cause giving an additional turn to a high speed unit is not that strong obviously. bronyas buffs are also tied to seele's turns which is weak cause her turns are very fast. seele is best paired with buffs and debuffs that aren't tied to seele. for example asta's passive isn't tied to her which makes it a great buff for seele (but it's often hard to stack), tingyun's benediction buff is also tied to tingyun's turns which makes it very great for seele (her ult is tied to seele though, but it's still pretty strong, same with asta's ult here); tingyun is also only giving out single target buffs which makes her great for seele, cause seele is usually played as a hypercarry. pela's debuffs are also not tied to seele which makes her pretty good. pela's ult debuffs all enemies which is great for aoe attacks usually but with how seele's passive and her high speed works it's still very very decent cause she will attack quite a lot of enemies usually either way during the 2 turns that pela's ult debuff works and you can fully use that debuff. welt is also fine cause he's great in any team kind of. usually you will go seele, 2 (de)buffers (one of which will pretty much always be tingyun tbh) and 1 healer or shielder or even just fire mc sometimes (there's no synergys with seele here tho, thus you will just use who's best against the enemies you're facing. most of the time it will probably be natasha or bailu cause it's safe to play healers); ocassionally you can also play 3 (de)buffers for fast clears or if you need very high damage somehow
my team lineups are Natasha, Asta, Pela and Seele and these 4 cleared W6 like breeze. i don't have Tingyun sadly

I just got her from a surprise first-time 50/50 win. As for her relics and lightcone, Dan Heng was happy enough to surrender his equipment, including a crit piece and plenty of ATK and Only Silence Remains to give Seele a great big damage buff. And boy she delivers. Kinda sad I don't have to strategize and wait months for her rerun......jk. Wanted her from the beginning, and got her. I know I'll be happy using her.

People in developed countries and cities rarely see those who are that unfortunate as he had stated so honestly they wouldn’t feel morally obliged in helping. I believe it is the connection made when we come in contact, hear and speak to in real life that makes us feel morally obliged to save the drowning boy if we can swim.

I hear people use Skill then Ult a lot, but I usually use Ult then Skill (if ult is up) bc your Ult's ressurgence comes up AFTER your natural turn, so you benefit from your Ult's dmg buff for all 4 attacks.
