KAMAZ (Russian: Камский Автомобильный Завод - КАМАЗ, romanized: Kamskiy Avtomobilny Zavod, lit. 'Kama Automobile Plant') is a Russian brand of trucks and engines manufacturer located in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia. It is famous for its cab over trucks. KAMAZ is a portmanteau which stands for a factory on the Kama River.
KAMAZ was founded in 1969. Today, heavy duty models are exported to many areas of the world including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. KAMAZ is the largest truck producer in Russia and the CIS with its factory producing 43,000 trucks a year (2014).[5]
KAMAZ trucks have won the Dakar Rally a record eighteen times, the most in the truck category by any manufacturer.
In 1969, the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the USSR Council of Ministers was approved which envisaged construction of a complex of heavy duty truck production plants. Around 70 potential sites to locate the facilities were investigated. Choice went in favor of Naberezhnye Chelny, then a small town on the Kama River. Naberezhnye Chelny was located in the center of the former Soviet Union. The navigable rivers - the Kama River and the Volga River - as well as proximity of the railway line, were central to meeting the logistical needs of the construction site for materials and equipment. Going forward, the location would also allow for the easy shipping of ready-made trucks to customers. The fact that the huge construction company "KamGESenergostroy" existed in the region allowed construction of plant buildings and apartment blocks for prospective KAMAZ employees to be completed.
Workers and engineers, representing more than 70 ethnicities, converged on Naberezhnye Chelny to fuse into a "melting pot" of the construction project personnel. Orders placed by KAMAZ to procure construction materials and equipment were filled by all the ministries and departments, a total of over 2,000 enterprises. Over 100,000 personnel were employed at the construction site itself. The would-be truck plant was being provided with the most state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment by the contemporary standards. More than 700 international firms were among equipment vendors for KAMAZ facilities, including such globally known corporations as Swindell-Dressler, Holcroft, CE-Cast, Ingersoll Rand, Ex-Cello (U.S.A.), Hueller-Hille, Liebherr (West Germany), Morando, Fiat (Italy), Renault (France), Sandvik (Sweden), Komatsu and Hitachi (Japan).
KamAZ-6282 is the urban large class low-floor electric bus codeveloped by NefAZ and KamAZ. Mass production of this model began in 2018.

ABOUT BUSES COMFORT:
I am concerned with the design (shape) of bus seats.
A back rest of the seat that leans back between 15 and 20 degrees from vertical line is advised. The angle between the back rest and the seat cushion (or the hard plastic “horizontal” surface of the seat) should be (ought to be) approximately 90 degrees.
I am concerned with the excessive swinging movements of buses [ swinging up an down (vertically) and from side to side (transversely) ]. This is a reason for lack of comfort and lack of safety.
I am concerned with hardness of shock absorbers (dampers).
Treads inside a bus may cause passengers to fall onto the ground. Generally there are only two treads along inside the bus.
Brazilian urban buses are not comfortable. They are awful! Very bad! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!
@@pauloandradeabreu8582 Many years ago, I used to make regular visits to Chicago and the city buses had a very hard ride. They also had hard plastic seats and no cushions. That was because the low quality of passengers and the messes they sometimes left behind. The bus was made with withstand the pot holes and be easy to clean up. Not passenger comfort. So, city buses here in the U.S. can be bad, as well.
On the other hand, long distance Greyhound buses were VERY comfortable. THOSE buses you could ride for many hours and it was all good.

@@BlackPill-pu4vi you are absolutely wrong. these buses do not operate intercity flights. as a rule, they drive from 1 to 5 stops to their destination in the city. the seat is sturdy, but at the same time very ergonomic and comfortable. I ride it around Moscow almost every day. buses with intercity flights are equipped with soft seats, and this is a city bus.
@@alex7777 O.K. but, I was using the Chicago city buses as a comparison and using that comparison to point out the better idea that the Kamaz buses provide.
I also made a positive comparison to the long distance Greyhound buses that we have here in the U.S. Now those buses are very comfortable because they are made for long distances and a better class of passenger.

I suggest reading ‘Ergonomics of Urban Public Passengers Transportation’ (Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira - UNET), at the point where it discusses 'bus seats' (the back rest and seat cushion angles). The recommended values may be partially refuted. But the reasoning core is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for the study of bus seats ergonomics.
Most Brazilian bus seats are not ergonomic. Bus seats of Caio-Induscar are awful, very bad! The bus seat of Comil is awful, very bad! So are Brazilian underground (subway) seats! And comfort comes from ergonomics!
Bus seats ERGONOMICS:
For the backrest, a backwards inclination is recommended.
The seat cushion must be (should be) higher near to passenger’s knees, and lower near to the backrest. That is, the seat cushion must be (should be) a forward acclivity.

вот что я вижу, работники ходят в удобной одежде на 50%+ состояший из униформы, то есть в легкой расхлябоности, без всякого стресса, видно что какой мужик просто хуячит молотком по корпусу, кто то просто шараебится по территории, в принципе всё выглядит так как есть, большой респект операторам. и монтёру.
У нас на севере автобусы камаз возят вахтавиков к месту работы. Хорошие и теплые машины. 👍

@@irystonlexx Я повторяю вам что в конце девяностых годов покупали Мерседес бу да в те времена это было круто после ЛиАЗ и Икарус но они тоже приходили в утиль так как они уже до РФ работали где-то очень долго и они продали их не просто так. Если вы любитель секонд хенд или помоек то,я вас понимаю но ,я считаю людей должна возить свежия исправная техника. А вот если вы купите себе бу автомобиль это ваше личное дело.

I suggest reading ‘Ergonomics of Urban Public Passengers Transportation’ (Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira - UNET), at the point where it discusses 'bus seats' (the back rest and seat cushion angles). The recommended values may be partially refuted. But the reasoning core is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for the study of bus seats ergonomics.
Most Brazilian bus seats are not ergonomic. Bus seats of Caio-Induscar are awful, very bad! The bus seat of Comil is awful, very bad! So are Brazilian underground (subway) seats! And comfort comes from ergonomics!
Bus seats ERGONOMICS:
For the backrest, a backwards inclination is recommended.
The seat cushion must be (should be) higher near to passenger’s knees, and lower near to the backrest. That is, the seat cushion must be (should be) a forward acclivity.

Treads inside a bus may cause passengers to fall onto the ground. Generally there are only two treads along inside the bus.

Agora até aquele gorgorão que fica nos ferros presos ao teto (para os passageiros se segurarem) do ônibus da Caio-Induscar ficou menor e menos encorpado. Pessoas com tamanho de mão normal só conseguem segurar o gorgorão com os dedos, não cabe mais toda a palma da mão. Isso é perda de conforto.
Quando eu era menino meus pais visitavam parentes nos fins de semanas. Num desses dias eu fiquei longa e profundamente meditando como o ônibus era confortável. No final da década de 1970 eu trabalhava longe de casa e tomava dois ônibus para ir ao emprego. Eram tão confortáveis que valiam por um lazer. Uma década posterior eu ia até a periferia da cidade de São Paulo tomar cerveja com os amigos ou jogar jogos de mesa. A viagem no ônibus era um prazer. Atualmente evito o máximo que posso tomar ônibus. ANIQUILARAM O CONFORTO! Gostaria que o Brasil importasse ônibus da Índia, da China, ou de qualquer outro país, e parasse de colocar na praça os ônibus brasileiros! Ônibus brasileiros: conforto-LIXO!
