Today Nifty 500 ends +0.9% while my portfolio ends with +1.2% this is the alpha in direct equity investment when compared to a benchmark index, if can't achieve any alpha in comparison with benchmark index, we can can quit Direct investment and going to Mutual funds route will be ideal...

No Bro, wrong understanding. There are both weekly and monthly contracts. Monthly to stay. Even for weekly, one index may continue to be there.. sebi aim is not to have daily expiry (weekly expiry on all days), daily expiry gives daily speculation oppurtunity, so it wants to curb that.
@@tiruppurbulls So, all types of indexes (nifty50,banknifty,finnity,midcap,bankex) are contract one...so either there will be weekly or monthly. if sebi stopped weekly expiry, then monthly expiry will be there. right bro?
