- This shield build can get a bit annoying to set up if you're trying to use it for every fight however, keep this in the back pocket for bosses you're having trouble with!

I think it's pretty easy to spot 25%. One segment of the health bar is 5%. So 5 segments is 25%.

Looking into this build if you put on that ring that gives you 15% skill cooldown but makes you use 15% of your health you can set your health to exactly 25%. You can also put on super conductor to double your skill uses to speed up on the health drop. Just remember to take the ring back off after setting up!
For anyone wondering, the first ring they are talking about is Burden of the Stargazer.

I love this I'm looking forward to trying it and testing it. I hope it helps, there's a ring that either takes 15% health or 15 health on mod use. If you use one of the beam mods shoot it 5 times and you'll be at 25% if it's the -15%. I gotta see when I play next. It needs to be tested cause I can't remember if it leaves gray health but I was trying to make and infinite mod use laser with health regen 😂

Given how it wouldnt really even hurt ring of crisis in its intended use case, I imagine they'll just make the shield not self-stack to fix this. Here's hoping they do that instead of adding a cooldown on spawning the shield tho, as that would nerf non-unintended builds that use it pretty hard.

this isnt a bug or something its just clever use of game mechanics and build crafting nothing wrong with that
Medic passive skill doesn't work to get the hearts back since gray health doesn't count. However you could try using invader checkpoint skill to save some hearts

@SyIis the time limit is based on the number of relic charges, Reboot stores your current health, ammo and relic charges for 30s and lets you restore it.
While it sounds good on paper tho it'll basically extend the time limit by 60s max cuz with good timing you can get 2 more relic charges with reboot, probably not worth it tho cuz killing faster would be safer.
This build has unfortunately been patched out, the patch notes for 09.11.23 reads;
"Fixed an issue where Ring of Crisis was stacking instead of refreshing."

I thought so too, not suppose to stack as in description. 25% shield of max health for 10s is to mean start from zero, it does not say it stacks like in the Encrypted ring. Does it stack if from another source? eg rerouting cable, or tightly wound coil?
Good time of day. I don't understand where 5 stacks of shields come from? By means of what is their set implemented? The relic loops health on a certain value. The ring gives a shield for 10 seconds with a decrease in health to 25%.
The most recent patch may of either ended this build, or empowered it further. Could you make a new video after testing ?
Cool build! but if you facing Empathy boss it's will be pain for this
so great build, would probably try finding a way to tweak it so that it works with medic subclass since the healing from the ring would allow for regenerating hearts.
You don't want the healing or else it would take you above the 25% threshold. You don't heal in this build at all and your shields are the thing jumping up and down

Can you figure out a build for Misty step? I saw that stamina regen and health rings reduce the penalty of the omen ring, but I only got it to 9% ( I know there’s an exploit with a consumable and taking the death pill that lowers it to 1.2 depending on your armor but that’s gonna be patched eventually)
Infinite shield...for roughly 4 minutes..i think our definitions of infinite are different.

could probably tweak it a bit using medic archetype to get infinite hearts and in turn infinite shields

@@FairuslolomgI'm a medic and I can tell you to think twice before you spread misinformation. Better yet, 'test' it out first before looking like the fool you are now.
The setup is much easier if you use Generating Band instead of Dread Font - because it only kicks in when a shield is active, that means when you pop Reprocessed Heart, your HP will naturally sink to 25%. Ring of Crisis will then activate, which will in turn activate Generating Band, which if you balance your Triage and Regrowth right, will then stabilise at the 25% sweet spot. Seems like it would be easier to match the numbers with the Dread Font method. Nice to have alternative options, though. Definitely easier to trigger with Generating Band.
Generating Band might work with Medic's prime perk to restore relics.
@@Zephyn13 Yeah, finding the right numbers is tricky. There might be some other combination that works too if you start bringing Vigor into the mix, just didn't dive too deep there.
if you go 9 points in vigor, so your health is at 127, generating band schould give you exactly 3.81 health per second. fill the rest up with 1.2 health per second with either regrowth or bloodflow (would be cheaper) and you're only 0.01 health off. closest to exactly 5 i've found. plus you're not getting screwed by the traitpoints classes give you, so it can be used with all classes except medic and summoner.

There is a way to know when you hit the 25% of your health by looking
To your stamina if they all 100 it’s always in the fifth bar
Definitely gonna get patched. Most equipment with effects like that Crisis ring do not self-stack. Also the shield is based on max HP so you should have pumped a little vigor... though doubtful it would actually matter, rather overkill perhaps in solo.
Would maining Medic hurt the build? Only I've notice when using restrictiom cord and regen, the free heart bar fills up slowly. With the constant regen going between 25 and 26% hp, this should fill the heart charge bar pretty nicely.

That's a lot of setup for it to work on a single boss and then having to all of that all over again per boss.

I figured this Shield thing out if you roll with Misty step ring it will harm you activating the Shields and I was stacking Shields with it
That and you can use the Leto Mark 1 or Mark 2 armors for extra damage resist as well.
How did you get the gas mask helmet?
If shields stacked without having to remove the stacks, there would be way more op builds lol, shields are fancy but hard to make op lol

But what u dont say is that the heart can be abit pain to get. Its all about rng in campaign and can not be done in adventure mode.
I'm gonna say this, THIS version of Tal'Ratha looks waaaaayy easier than the Metaphysical version.
Emergency switch as amulet and Conservation Seal ring - so you will get nearly unlimited time

Could you take the medic as the primary archetype to recycle your hearts?
I tried, since the healing Is grey health healing it wasn't counting towards the relic reset :/
I haven't tested yet, but using Generating Band in place of Dread Font might work with Medic's prime.
Generating Band version does work with Medic, but it's difficult to get the numbers right, and it's really slow to regain relics.
It's like using a trainer with extra steps

I don't think so, I've seen very little around Grey health and this seems like it's intended. The only nerf I could see would be putting either a limit or cooldown on ring of crisis' trigger.
Not patched, nerfed. It's working as intended, so there is no bug to patch.

If you need more time, theres a ring + amulet combo that gives you a 50% chance to not use a relic when below 50% health.
Oh I can finally talk about it now that it's dead.
In the Release build of the game you could get to 101% DR very Easy.
You didn't even Stagger when bosses hit you and it was available for over 20 minutes.

Engineer is mandatory and you kept your Turret in your Hand most of the time cause it gives 10% flat DR.
However this does not work after the DR changes

Copied all things you did and it did not work the shield depleted in a split second and died, maybe ps5 users cant do this
Did he mention this was done on the PC/Ps5/Xbox version? Each one unfortunately is at a different patch version
PS5 is not the same patch as the PC, so just wait for the next update

doesn't work anymore.. has been patched somehow and the shield goes away asap, so has become quite useless against boss that instant kill you with a single hit...

Honestly i don't think this build is THAT broken. It has a relatively high skill requirement to optimize. Summoner Medic builds are basically doing the same thing just with Health instead of sheilds this build offers.
Oh boy are you wrong. I played infinite heal medic and that truly is OP... as long as you dont play Apocalypse multiplayer, because even with full leto + armor trait + full vigor + extra 20 health ring i got 1 hit or so barely 1 hit that my teammates never survived and didnt get any benefit from my healing. Instead my damage suffered and i was a deadweight more or less.
@@drachenklnd question. If a friend has beaten the game on apocalypse, can they go to the friends world and buy the apocalypse weapon rewards from the merchant that sells them?
@@linked2dio26 99,99% sure you have to do it on your own. Also starting a new profile has all the stuff unlocked in the shops, so if your friend joins you he can buy them in your world.
Just beat Apoc Annihilation solo, if you go max DR, 150 hp you can barely survive the downward splash, that one deals way more damage. Also the Balls are 1 hit.

Why not run medic? This build infinitely regenerates health, meaning medic makes it so you have infinite relics for true infinite uptime.
