I still want to say once more: so thankful I signed up Study Group. Learning from the right source and teacher is just tremendous. Everything you mentioned in this video is echoing so much of my own journey (of course mine is not be as extensive and long as yours). It's so efficient and great - learning from you.
Another great video, Kenzo! I would love to see you do a new video (or multiple videos?) on your shape/shape design journey. I know you said it's ongoing, but it would be really interesting to learn how you got to where you're at now: )
So I've done a live figure drawing today and I literally draw all the tummy folds like you described! What you just said about the abstract shapes just blew my mind! :D thank you!
Thank you for sharing the tips and with many details that will help me simplify my drawings. Congratulations on the work you are doing to help people who are interested in improving their drawings.
My learning continues to grow as a result of your guidance. Thanks a lot for sharing and teaching. Q) Could you tell me which app you used when you drew?
I'm a beginner at life drawing and I love ur videos, i would really love to learn gesture but I can't find a good exercise to help me capture gesture in poses need help
@@lovelifedrawing I've been practicing gesture skills following the order of your roadmap for months now and I'm practicing gesture now i can't find a good exercise for finding flows will this course help🙏
Maybe someone can answer this at 17.08 when he shows the digital tools, is that coloured drawing done digitally? or is a handdone pastel ? Difficult to tell. Can someone please let me know
I think maybe starting with a gesture line is better than starting with a specific body part. So you can start with the head after you’ve done the gesture line for example. This is how I do it at least

thank you Jennifer - it's so good to have you in there :)
I'd love to see a video about how you added colour to the sketches!
Squinting is like magic. Yes! squinting has helped me sooo much.
just a reminder ,no matter how long it takes you will make it at the end
Thank you, Kenzo and team. I’m loving Figure Foundations so far. Finally have a road map to follow to get the skills :) Very excited.
That's awesome to hear Emma!

that's great! Yeah don't worry everyone does that, we are wired to see details instead of big shapes, but we can rewire our brains
Thanks! These are real tips for the beginner. I own several drawing courses and none of them addressed these beginner traps.
Glad it was helpful!
