Zach brought the essence of Kurt to the screen without getting in the way of who he actually is. As a person who lived in St. Louis in 1999 and has met Kurt-WOW!!!!!
Hope this movie stands on it's own merits. Faith is important but making a good movie is just as important to get your message across. Too many faith based movies are just stilted and heavy handed.
I believe that chuck bartowski , Kurt Warner & Shazam/Captain marvel character actor Zachary levi is a real breath of fresh air as I know he himself is not a devout day in & day out prayer warrior like job was for his family and friends + his people God's chosen people the Jews (& I don't even like them) or Impressed upon his heart & burdened in his soul to restore His Lords holy city of jerusalem walls like Nehemiah. Neither dedicated to the lords work like Samuel the prophet of God Or tasked with showing God's miraculous power as Elijah the prophet was given the unenviable task of completing. And like alot of people who speak to these billionaires, entertainers, musicians, celebrities, actors, sportsmans, philanthropists, athletes, superstars, odds and ends folks interview such & who y'all wanna look up to like there the second coming well sorry to bust your bubble the only one who was and is and is to come is found in the 'Book' and you'll have to look and find him cause he's the real hero and he is coming soon.
Great message but Acting was was HORRIBLE. I wish Brenda and Kurt Warner could have played themselves in the movie. Would have been twice as good... Ya Levi did not do a good job in his role. Looked like he was lost in space in his vacant stares half the movie.

Always deeply respected both Kurt AND Zachary, and to have a movie that brings them together is a dream come true!

Kurt is wonderful n the story has it all..hope Zachary n team bags an oscar..its beautiful effort put in..
And this film reunited Zachary Levi with Adam Baldwin(who played Cssey on Chuck).
