Hi ladies!! Thanks for stopping by!❤ While I liked the items, I will say wool isn’t my favorite. It just kind of always feels itchy to me so I usually avoid it in general. But I am keeping the hoodie and v neck sweater since they’re a blend and I love how they look. But be aware they do give me that itch feeling still, even as a blend. 🙃
Hi Liz. I have picked up a couple of cashmere and silk pieces for Fall too. I can't do wool or acrylic ( rash😢 lol). Those brown slacks are beautiful. I've seen them on several channels. TFS 🙂
Hi Linda! 🌸 can’t go wrong with cashmere and silk!😉 I have never owned this blend before so I just decided to try it. I thought they’d be softer with the cashmere or not itchy, but I can still tell. But then I liked how they looked so just kept them.🙃

Here’s my honest review of Lily Silk. Hope it’s more balanced:
Order: Although appearing to be easy and the good deal with buy 1 get 1 25% off plus a site wide 20% off, there was no itemized pricing for the 4 items I ordered. This is very sneaky as you will know soon.
Shipping: The purchase arrived in a week, not bad at all given it has to travel across the globe. However, still no packing slip to show itemized prices or even what I ordered until I opened each pack.
Packaging: Unlike the UA-camrs who show nice boxes, my items arrived in envelopes, and items are all wrinkled.
I returned two items that I did not like, including this one. They refunded me 20% less than what I had paid. There was no explanation or breakdown in the email from the customer service about how they arrived at the refund amount. After calling their US office, they explained that they refunded based on the deepest discount, so for the two items I am keeping, I am paying the least discount. Not sure if they are intentional, but with each step conveniently leaving out the itemized prices, it certainly left me wonder. I now don’t want to keep the remaining two items because I don’t want to be reminded of this horrible experience every time I see these items. Guess what? You only get one opportunity of free shipping for returns and now I am responsible for the return shipping, too.
Bottom line: UA-camrs are all biased in their reviews. Many often don’t have to go through the same purchasing experience we do. I wish their reviews were more balanced but they are paid up. Unless you are absolutely sure you want the items, the items will fit, and the prices are clear, do not purchase as it is not worth the wait for arrival, return, refund, and additional stress and inconvenience dealing with Lily’s customer service. Go to Banana Republic store and try on an item and see it in person. It is so much more straightforward and clean, with comparable prices (or better when on sale) and better quality based on my touch test.
I gave 2 stars because to be fair, the quality of the other items is not bad, but the seemingly low price certainly comes with an inconvenience premium.
Thank you very much, Lily Silk for teaching me a lesson about ordering from an overseas manufacturer that does not share the same value of US customers.
I’ve never been approached, nor given anything (clothes or funds) in any manner for 2023 From Lily Silk. So my experience is as a regular buyer/customer. I appreciate you sharing your perspective and experience, that’s all I’m doing too and it’s how we all learn. Thank you for sharing!🌻😊 Many of the things you mention do happen and have happened to me at other stores, returns always need to be specific at each store and it’s a pain…very high end stores I’ve found are the worst…

People go on about fast fashion brands the Only thing fast about it is when people buy an item wear it once then never again but most people are not influencers that are scared to be seen in same outfit twice so when most of us buy a pair of jeans or a shirt it's a forever item in our wardrobe instead of paying a fortune for all these expensive fabrics buy more classic style pieces in harder wearing fabrics so they do last you 10+ years don't buy a load of trend pieces that are going to get thrown away at end of a season just be more mindful with what you buy then you are doing your bit for the environment
Certainly using whatever you purchase for a longer time is the best way to not be wasteful.😊🌸

Hi I really enjoyed your video. I would love to go outside my comfort zone and get silk trousers, blouse, and /or skirt but am worried that it will easily stain and get very wrinkled when sitting. I would love and appreciate your opinion. I am definitely not a slob but would love your experience with this. You looked beautiful in everything but i think my favorites were the cream v neck, grey polo sweater and the silk pants but everything looked really nice. Hi there JulieAnne ! 😊 thank you for the great comment, maybe I’ll prepare a video on this topic this season.😉 I don’t dry clean anything anymore. I don’t like all the chemicals they use. I also don’t use protectant or starch. I usually spot clean, hand wash, and hang outside. I just use a little bit of detergent and hand wash, only when necessary. Since I do have a lot of linen, silk, and cashmere I treat them all the same with regards to cleaning. As far as wrinkles, yes natural fibers wrinkle, but so do many man made fibers, particularly cotton blends. I steam and wear, I hardly iron. I am mindful of what I need to do and sitting ect for the day when planning my outfits.
My suggestion is, I’d wait for a really great sale and then just pick up only one top and one bottom and see how often you use those and if they work in your life, for a year. I’m careful now because I learned through experience it’s just easier. I’m wearing one of my silk trench’s today as I’m writing you this. 😊 I hope that helps.
I am exchanging the hoodie and pants for a size up. I decided to let the tan sweater go. I don’t like to have multiple things just in different colors so I had to pick one. I’ll keep my eye out for another tan sweater this fall. 😊

I wish you would have shared the prices! I can’t wear wool, what are the washing instructions? I prefer items that can be thrown in the washer, but hand wash is okay, no dry clean only!
I don’t dry clean anything anymore. I hand wash and/or hang outside and I find between those two that’s good. I don’t usually mention the prices since they can change, but sometimes I do put them in the description from stores that don’t run discounts. I utilized the 20% off coupon code they had onsite for my order.😊
I'm really happy that you are being honest why pay that much for sheer silk trousers when you can get opaque satin ones for a fraction of the price that you can wash at home in your washing machine and iron and steam and will last you a long time and you also won't cry if you get a stain or a snag in them too 😂
To each their own😊 I like both. Definitely depends on your lifestyle. But I do have more time these days to care for the natural fibers. I will say they are breathable, possibly their best claim to fame.😉

Wow! that's a lot of negativity on someone else's channel who is trying to do a review on purchases that they actually like. Your comments were as if you were asked to do a review. Have you ever had Lily Silk pieces? Im 68 and I don't have a huge budget for clothes. But I've purchased enough clothes in my lifetime both higher and lower end pieces. And I do know that I get far more for my money by saving up for a higher quality piece of clothing then to buy six cheap pieces. I have classic timeless pieces I purchased 30 years ago that I can still wear now and they are current. Like blazers, a trench coat, cashmere sweaters, a leather coat. Everyone has a different budget and style. I think it's whatever makes you feel good about yourself and what works for you personally. Ty for another great review and video Liz. @@marycosgrove1587 I wasn't being negative in the slightest bit was just explaining that the expensive fabrics are an ongoing expense not just purchase price and they are easily ruined where am I being negative to this channel or to lilly silk ?
Make sure you read the care labels and follow them all if anyone buys anything you have to be really careful with silk and cashmere it's easy to snag and ladder the fabric and it bobbles easily too so you might want a clothes shaver to keep them nice and if you planning on saving up your money to buy these pieces the expense doesn't end their dry cleaning bills on top of that and they say they're forever pieces that's not true they wear quicker than synthetic fabrics yes they feel amazing quality but they don't last you as long as a satin shirt or a wool blend cotten blend linen blend items

Lilysilk die 1000. Ich jedenfalls möchte diese unglaubliche Tierquälerei nicht unterstützen. (Peta Bericht über die Herstellung von Seide). Außerdem finde ich diese übertriebene Presenz von Lilysilk auf dem YT Markt, als hätten sie das Mode Monopol ergattert (in jedem 2. Modevideo!!) einfach unerträglich. 😖🥱 Und bei Cashmere bin ich genauso skeptisch aber die Lilysilk Cashmere Pullis Videos Überflutung kommt ja noch... Und zwar so sicher wie das amen in der Kirche.
