Love watching all your videos. Where did you get the loopy chain that will fit the connectors?

Hi Rhonda, We always keep an eye our for interesting and different chain at bead shows and craft stores. You can find good chain online too.
      Try Etsy: www.etsy.com/search?q=open+link+chain&ref=search_bar
      Hope that helps!

Love the S connectors. Will the 20 gauge wire hold it’s shape or does it need hammered to work harden it? The necklace is beautiful.

Great question Aleta! We have made them hammered and not hammered. In both cases, they kept their shape. Here's the how-to on our blog: runningwithsisters.com/gemstone-necklace/

Thanks Kathleen! We love buying beads at gem shows but we haven't been to one in the past year. So we have been buying a lot from FireMountainGems.com and Etsy. Lots of great beads on Etsy! www.etsy.com/search?q=large+faceted+gemstone+beads+peruvian+opal+nugget
We have the complete written instructions with materials list for this necklace on our blog: runningwithsisters.com/gemstone-necklace/

one suggestion when making the S hooks if you wire Harden them it will make them a little stronger and less likely to come apart just give them a little tap with a rubber or Rawhide mallet or if you like the design of a textured look with a chasing hammer

Kitty, about what size are these gemstones? I want to create something similar with polymer clay. TY

That sounds fun! Each stone is different. They are 18mmx26mm, 17mmx33mm, and 16mmx30mm. Hope that helps!
