  • Finally I've made some improvements! Here is my ME/CFS recovery update (dated October 2022)! In this video I document my recovery journey from Autumn 2021 - End of summer 2022. Dealing with antisocial behavior, difficult neighbors, extreme sports and resetting my nervous system.
This video is dedicated to Jack Phillips who horrifically took his own life last month due to severe ME/CFS. Please reach out to anyone if you are suffering from suicidal depression!
Watch my last video here - • Health Update October ...
Things I forgot to mention in this video are -
    1) I'm using a vagus nerve stimulator called a Sensate which has really helped me to sleep and relax better. It seems to calm my whole system down.
    2) My parents are still looking after me a bit. My mum still does my laundry and shopping. My parents still cook dinner for me too, which allows me to go out and enjoy myself, but I do all my breakfasts and lunches myself.
    3) I'm still meditating daily. I used to do 45 mins per day but found this a bit much. I now meditate around 20-30 mins per day. Some days barely meditate at all, but I aim to daily.
    4) On a rare occasion I do start feeling under the weather, I use a device called The Ultimate Zapper by Ken Presner, which seems to kill any new viruses/flu's that come into my system. I can't tolerate more than a few seconds of using his zapper otherwise I herx.
    5) I'm still suffering from intermittent gallbladder inflammation/pain in the upper right abdomen. I'm still unsure of why this is present.
    6) I had a colonic hydrotherapy session in the summer which caused me to have a massive crash. I clearly couldn't deal with the detox effects. I aim to do some water enemas to assist with elimination.
    7) I've started eating (some) gluten again after not eating it for 4 years. I had major cravings for bread, so baked some and it seems to be tolerated well. I try not to eat 'too much' but eat it roughly twice a week.

    2) My parents are still looking after me a bit. My mum still does my laundry and shopping. My parents still cook dinner for me too, which allows me to go out and enjoy myself, but I do all my breakfasts and lunches myself. My next aim is to become fully independent.

    4) On a rare occasion I do start feeling under the weather, I use a device called The Ultimate Zapper QE3 Plus by Ken Presner, which seems to kill any new viruses/flu's that come into my system. I can't tolerate more than a few seconds of using his zapper otherwise I herx. Some people say this is quack, but I know it works as I've felt the effects of the device myself. Ken's website is - zap.intergate.ca/
    5) I'm still suffering from intermittent gallbladder inflammation/pain in the upper right abdomen. I'm still unsure of why this is present. I may try a gallbladder/liver flush when I am a bit stronger.
    6) I had a colonic hydrotherapy session in the summer which caused me to have a massive crash. I clearly couldn't deal with the detox effects. I aim to do some water enemas to assist with elimination, which may be more gentle.
    7) I've started eating (some) gluten again after not eating it for 4 years. I had major cravings for bread, so baked some and it seems to be tolerated well. I try not to eat 'too much,' but I eat it roughly twice a week.

    Hey Jack,
Nice hearing and seeing from you!
I'm a fellow CFS Warrior from Germany
It is so good seeing you doing something you like and what you would normaly do!!! I am very hesitant to do things that a "sick" person wouldn't do because of feeling guilty. I am on healtcare and it is still up to decide for my insurance companys and the healthcare system if they pay my bills, so i don't do things in public an especially nothing that a sick person shouldn't do.
Thats why it is so good seeing you do this stuff. It gives me motivation!!!
Have you heard from the "Root Products" from the USA? They are helping me a lot with my Fatigue and overall feeling!
I am so happy for you that you made this progress!!!!! I am literaly crying in front of my PC! So damn Happy for you :) :) :) :)
And for the fear of Covid...I caught Covid 2 weeks ago and i was pretty sick, but i was better afterwards with my CFS!!! I think it reset my Nervous and Immunesystem a little bit.

Hey Martin, I totally get what you mean about feeling guilty. I had that for a long time, but there are different phases or gradients of illness. You don't just go from being bedridden to thriving and you have to go through the recovery journey, slowly building up your activities. So try and let that guilt go if you can. I definitely relate to you not wanting to do stuff in public. I still get this occasionally. Maybe just make your social media private and don't post anything on there? For example this channel is not connected to my full name and all my other social media is private, otherwise the authorities would be like "you are doing all these activities you must be faking your illness", yet I still have symptoms. But good luck with getting medical insurance and go for it dude.
I've not heard of Root Products, I'll look into that, thank you.
Thanks again for your kind words! :) It was a strange one filming and editing this video, because it showed how much progress I've made. That's awesome about covid too that it didn't affect you too much and might have even made you better 😂 Keep going man, you've got this!
