It’s closer to being on even playing field, but I’d still take the Bandit over the BR on most Arena maps, simply because a shot landed is total dmg by the Bandit, whereas you can hit someone with the BR, but if you aren’t in red reticle range, you aren’t hitting them with all 3 rounds of a burst, and it’s very easy to get descoped, so often times when you are trading with a Bandit, the BR suffers more from losing red reticle range than the Bandit does. The Bandit may have a lesser zoom, but when both are being descoped, the Bandit wins the majority of the time. When the BR player isn’t being descoped, the BR player is winning, but most times you aren’t going to shoot someone without them shooting you back and descoping you. So like I said, the BR is more viable now, not being completely outclassed, but on smaller maps, the Bandit is still king. The BR would outclass the Bandit on the 8v8 and 12v12 sized maps, but there are some larger 4v4 arena maps that the BR can outshine the Bandit on.
