      Thanks very much Michael and good to meet you too! It’s been tough to get out there recently with weather and work! Hope you’re getting more water time in than I am currently.

    Hi Paul, may I know what type of transducer you are using? Also, what is the maximum depth that it can reach?

    • @Jetcast
      @Jetcast  11 місяців тому +1

      I have a Garmin 953xsv sounder with a GT51 transducer which is a 600W transducer I believe, and specs say a 300M capability in downscan. I can pick out the fish clearer than my previous GT56. The 56 and 95UHD that I use to have had a 350W downscan capability, so around the 100m is the limit of effectiveness apparently.

    what is the max trolling speed before it starts spinning ?

    • @Jetcast
      @Jetcast  17 днів тому

      Probably pops out of the water before spinning. But I’d say about 8-10knots.

    There's that spectacular sunrise again, what a start to the day. You didn't get to sit down and that mackerel was ripping your rod out the holder 😅

      I really love the sunrises we get to see. Best time of day. That Spanish was pretty greedy. I didn't have time to tether the rod or put the ratchet on! Thanks for coming back to the channel again!

    Hi Paul,
    Are you guys based out of Noosa or do you also go out of Point Cartwright?
    If out of Noosa have you ever gone as far as Double Island Point in the Jetski and fished around there? Cheers Marty

      Hi Marty, I actually am from Brisbane but do a bit of fishing on the SC. I haven’t actually ever gone that far from Noosa, but once we stayed at Rainbow Beach and fished out the front of Double island Point. Bit of a hike from the ramp there too, about 16km. Be better to launch off the beach at D I. The weather wasn’t great for our weekend but we had a bit of fun. There’s a video somewhere on this channel on it! Thanks for watching.
