Interesting thanks! I have a 10 year old JVC LT-32C340 which has a vaguely similar problem: It remains in standby when I try to switch it on using either the remote or switch on the side. I'll switch it off then on at the mains causing the blue LED to first come on either permanently or for a second before turning the standby red LED on. From here I can then switch it on using either the remote of switch on the side. Finally putting it in standby via the remote causes it to intermittently remain in standby but sometimes able to turn it back on. I think this is related to your other video _The Great LED TV CON...... and you signed up to it..._ where one of the backlight LEDs is 'leaking' as you put it. I'm not sure it's a con but rather a safety measure to prevent any of the LEDs getting too hot via a runaway effect.
Two year warranty .. What !!! Samsung only gives ONE year warranty .. It's a second hand item, so should be no more than a few months warranty, maybe Three months or maybe only a month :)
Not seen the switch fault previously thanks for the useful knowledge Allen.

Nice fix Allen, had the failed switch before thanks for the upload 😊

JVC stuff is now a currys home brand lol, junk, nothing like the old Victor company of the 80s
Hi Allen great fun
Another example of badge engineering from Vestel, these sets have a few common faults and the dvd modules have short life.
Hi Allan do u have some of the repair tvs for sale?
Well, there we are! But at least it's working properly now...
Love shots of Misty. More Misty, less TV’s 😅.
She agrees.
:D
