I'm sorry to hear that your wife we treated badly, and I completely agree with you. A friend of mine who is a paraplegic after a motorcycle accident has had some terrible treatment in some places. But to be fair, some establishments, the caring ones have really gone more than the extra mile. What is surprising is it's sometimes not the ones you expect.
I once met a guy who did that very thing. He was not disabled, but his job was to go to places to see how they treated people with disabilities, and to see how well they complied with regulations.
I was secretly shopped by someone with a service dog. Got a perfect score. He said that not petting the dog was what impressed him the most. I told him to bring his family next time he comes in.
The story is a little bit over the top because in reality...we treat disable people with respect. Maybe some human are so cruel but...this story its just does not make sense to me.😬😁
I once dated a wonderful woman who used a wheelchair, and the way many treated her was appalling. The worst was when people talked over her and to me. She was a lot smarter than me.
Same for service dogs or assistance animals. I have a service dog for psychiatric and medical alert and response. She’s always spoken to or seen before me. If not only seen, completely ignoring me.
Loved it, more things like this need to be done for real. People who don't have a child or family member who is disabled will never understand how rude and uncaring some people can be.
Wheelchairs are good but a pain in the fucking ass in my school cant go two steps inside the room to get food without someone in a wheelchair running you over
Same actually! When someone sees that someone is disabled or too poor, that's when they become garbage in the man's eyes. It's really awful how people can't understand that all humans are equal
But there may be a problem with people pretending to be disabled. They could abuse that to get away cheaper or just to get attention what would come back negative on actually disabled people.
EVERYONE can become disabled... NO MATTER how "perfect" you might be... TREAT others with the same RESPECT you are someone you love deserves to be treated. Great reflections.
Garry, this was my very first Dramatize Me video. I first saw this and I was hooked. Great acting, amazing actors and your plot was great. I love how the lady in the wheelchair stood up and said "am I good enough to eat at your restaurant now?" My other favorite part was when she said "I'm Brooke White, the food critic. But you can call me your executioner!" She nailed it, great.
As someone who has a friend in a wheelchair I'm proud of what the food critic did. She was looking out for those with disabilities. They are human just like anyone else! This is one of my favorite channels! And thank you for this video and message.
I loved this! When they treated her so badly, I wanted to crown them with my walker, and when she stood up and told them she was a food critic, I laughed my head off.
I am in a wheelchair and the amount of times people are rude, or look down at me, or don't even serve me because of it. Its unfair I'm just like everyone else. 😔
I have worked with people of all ages and many kinds of disabilities... if there is one thing I have learned, it's that many of them have bigger hearts than most people now days.
This lady Brooke the food critic was pretending to be disabled because she heard from other readers that other disabled people were being rudely treated at this restaurant she was standing up for others so they would not be discriminatied against there again.
Next. disabled man or woman gets rejected at a restaurant or clothing store.. staff member regrets her actions Spoiler alert.. the disabled person turned out to be the CEO who can actually walk
I too have been treated similarly. I am a Disabled Veteran who requires a Medical alert dog for diabetes, and cannot drive. Because of my dog, I am have been denied service not only from restaurants but also businesses and public transportation.
My sister's have autism and it's things like this that make me angry. I love how the staff was called out in the end. Standing up for what is right is the #1 thing we can do for those who can't
My cousin, has a disability that keeps his mind in a child like state, its kinda sweet, to always have that child wonder. He is loved and cherished in my family, and seeing people like this, outing others for things that they cannot control. It just boils my blood to the point that I wanna shout into their faces and just make them fall to their knees with guilt. I don't know how these awful people can sleep with ease after belittling this poor women.
@@mehdih8165 it's not exaggerated you fool us disabled people are mistreated like this every year and every day by rude people who don't respect special needs or disabled people
My university did a social experiment similar to this where we had some of us come in wheelchairs to high class restaurants and it’s disgusting how we got treated. This isn’t fiction it’s insane how this is tolerated.
I'm disabled but it doesn't show. I try to interact but when people are nasty to me I retaliate but not quietly and soon put them in their place. ALL people have the right to live their life without discrimination either disability, colour, race or religion 🖖 OK I'm a trekkie

I love how at 7:17, she not only exposed the manager's discrimination of disabled people, but also her misogyny because she assumed only men can be food critics
@@alexanderjones9572 that's because some people who can stand use wheelchairs because they might not have enough energy to get through the day if they just use crutches or something else. Not that this would be understood by this dude. My point is that some people with disabilities can stand for limited periods.
My parents use to teach me when I was a boy that someone is always watching. I guess these employees missed that one. Treat people right always for you always reap what you sow.
That's wrong motivation though. If you are just not evil because you fear that someone will see and punish you, than that's not really being good. You should imagine that you are the other person, and think how you would feel if someone did something to you.
My fiance is in a wheelchair and this hurts so much. That people treat those in wheelchairs like they are dirt. It's sad. There is no "misunderstanding" when you treat someone who is different like dirt just because of their disability.
@@chiravuris Yes. It does. It's really sad. People look at him as if he is some alien. I am not sure why. And sometimes we have to change date plans because some places aren't wheelchair accessible or won't allow a someone in a wheelchair to come in.

Wow if wheelchairs can be eaten, i guess this could save lifes as this could solve world hunger, global warming, death of marine life and wild life, pollution, and more.... this is because wheelchair is made out of metal, plastic, rubber, cloth and more... so if we could eat those materials, we could basically help clean up the rubbish found in the ocean and in the dump... as those materials are mostly found as a waste...
Absolutely Nereida, Disabled or not I believe everyone was created by God and should be treated equally. This is highly inspirational 👌. They deserve better, I'm sending hugs 🌹 from Houston, Tx... And you? 😊
Isn't it ironic that all of us are actually disabled or hurt in another way. Inside our hearts we are broken by everything that happens. So we can accept people that don't have problems on the outside but all the time we are being friendly to people who are actually hurt on the inside.
My husband, who passed away last year, was in a wheelchair after losing both legs. We were fortunate to be treated nicely in many restaurants, but he had appalling experiences in other places. Such attitudes from people are humiliating.
I am from Australia 🇦🇺 & it's amazing the number of Restaurants, or Wedding Venues that Don't have Wheelchair Access or Disabled Toilets. I have No Use of my legs & am in a Wheelchair. You can't just try out new places. Some places even will tell you they are Wheelchair accessible & you find out when you get inside, settled at your table, & have ordered food, that there is No Disabled Toilet. I've often had to leave a Restaurant to find a toilet, then go back to the Restaurant. I make a mental note & never go back. It's disgusting the way people with Disabilities are treated. My money is just as good as anyone elses. People look at you & judge you before they get to know you, especially if your in a wheelchair. I will go somewhere with someone & they will ask the person I'm with what I want, "How Rude". I get angry when people assume people with disabilities aren't smart, or think they have the right to boss us around. I have a University Degree. I am almost 50 & still single with no children. I didn't expect my life would be like this. I wasn't born Disabled. I ended up with a disability in my 20's. I became paraplegic when I was 30. Most guys seem to not bother getting to know a woman in a wheelchair. They need to stop judging us by what's on the outside & see what's on the inside. I am a loving, loyal & decent person who adores children. I've always wanted to get married & have children. Unfortunately that has never happened. I would like to have the same experiences available to me as available to anyone else. We have feelings too.
I go through this ALL THE TIME!! It's a real shame that we live in a society where we can't even treat those w/ the smallest of abnormalities with the smallest bit of dignity.
I was going to say the same thing. Where do people treat disabled people like this in a restaurant? Ive not seen anything like this for a disabled person. Pretty sure people would jump right in and say something where Im at.
@@AAADHD1619 In Massachusetts! An Applebee's in a certain town was paving their parking lot and had No provisions for handicapped people to get in. You are telling me that this type of behaviour happens in restaurants and other places? I don't think they care for anything except money whether from a disabled person or not
Moral: A person is a person whether they are disabled or not. Instead of looking down on people who are different, treat everyone with equal respect and kindness.
In real life, probably no restaurant will done the same thing, either cuz they really accept everyone or they dont want their image on other people eyes destroyed
How adorable, you still have a modicum of faith in humanity. Yes, this is "dramatized" but actually toned down from some of the things that I have seen. As in, literal security camera footage.
It happens quite often. I celebrated my birthday in a restaurant with my two children. My autistic son was a little restless that day because of overstimulation. To distract himself he had played with clay. A waitress in the restaurant then reacted in a similar way to the waiters in the film. Fortunately, other customers in the restaurant reacted and then showed the waitress how to behave. It was definitely not a nice birthday for me. My autistic son is now 20 and can give dozens of examples like this.

I'm Asian...I wouldn't say everyone that from asian will treat people disability with respect..cause i know well not all asian treat people with disability with respect..just like how other race work...there is good people and there is bad one
Depends. Not all asian is good, not all asian is bad. For example in train. I saw a lot of young people who pretend to be sleep just so they don't have to give up their spot to elderly or parent with child or maybe a pregnant woman. Most of the time it was young woman. I mean you can tell them that you are tired or something, no need to pretend and wear headset or headphone. It happened to me too when I was really sick and on my way back to my apartment, someone told security to ask me to give up my seat (it was a young healthy woman). I told them I was really sick and can't stand motion, it will make me puke. At the end I gave up my seat because of her, and I sit down on the floor near the door. They asked me why I sit on the floor. And I told them because I was really sick and can passed out anytime. And because someone forced me to gave up my seat. I opened my mask, and they all saw how pale my face was and started to offered me their seat. But I refused. Seriously... After that I almost never take a seat on train unless it was really empty. I kinda pissed off when someone faked their condition just so they can sit on train. And they talk about gender equality. Yeah, like a man won't get sick and stay healty all the time. And hated it more when they caused a scene just because they couldn't sit. But well if you want to be kind, just don't expect the same kindness back. Just do it. So no. Not all asians are kind to elderly, sick person, parent with child or pregnant woman.
What about people who cant get into vaccine passport resturants...bc of a medical condition. They will be discrimated agaisnt. Are you okay with that? But not okay with this? There is no difference

That was absolutely magnificent. This really shows what we go through as disabled. I am a wheelchair user and I have autism spectrum disorder so I could personally tell you that discrimination like this against people with disabilities more common than you think. My personal experience. One time I had to go to buy a GPU at Best buy's and they denied me access because I was in a mobility scooter after time. so I could personally tell you that discrimination is more common than you think and I think this video does a good job at showing it

I have watched this many times, it infuriates me every time till the critic stands up. I would not be able to sit or stand by seeing this happen to someone. The owner is responsible for the employees and the attitude of the establishment, leadership is reflected by the actions of the crew and it us no excuse for the owner to say they had no idea because it should be their top priority to know everything going on in their business. Great video
I am disabled and use a cane for my disability. One time in Walmart I heard a sound behind me and it turned out a young man was mocking the way I was walking. The lady he was with was admonishing him for that so there is still some good people around.
We will all eventually be helpless sooner or later. I'm glad that lady know the inner darkside of that individual. I see people mark me for walking crookedly. They don't know that I have scoliosis and endured many backpain every day. Do I like it? No and i have to explain to the uneducated. Then they have a deeper understanding. They are just acting, but your parents were wise
That's wrong motivation though. If you are just not evil because you fear that someone will see and punish you, than that's not really being good.

Shouldn't matter if someone is watching. Always treat people with kindness and respect.

If I witnessed this in real life I will do everything in my power to have that resto shutdown

The owner is responsible for the employees and the attitude of the establishment, leadership is reflected by the actions of the crew and it us no excuse for the owner to say they had no idea because it should be their top priority to know everything going on in their business. Great video
No problem curious Are [Awesome @shannelowe183] And [Awesome Shanne Lowe] Actually same Person etc?(~~~~).
Helo I found Ur Awesom nams Randomly so I am Curious if I can ask You Questions about Frustrating Vague Events etc?(~~~~).
@arnoldkumar8497 Hello, sure, what would you like to ask?
Excellent ❤️
Thanks 😊
I love the ending she is going to close the restaurant down love it
I am disabled and use a cane for my disability. One time in Walmart I heard a sound behind me and it turned out a young man was mocking the way I was walking. The lady he was with was admonishing him for that so there is still some good people around.
At least the lady has a heart and a brain!
@@DramatizeMe Exactly
We will all eventually be helpless sooner or later. I'm glad that lady know the inner darkside of that individual. I see people mark me for walking crookedly. They don't know that I have scoliosis and endured many backpain every day. Do I like it? No and i have to explain to the uneducated. Then they have a deeper understanding. Usually I help the helpless and less fortunate than me. I don't laugh and ridicule their unnatural human qualities because we human have different level of flaw. No one is perfect but yet have unique attributes.
@@tr1bes Well said 😎 Wtih my neurological problem two days ago I had just started mowing my lawn then a young man stopped by and said it looked like I was having trouble and offered to mow for me. I thanked him for offering. I did not realze I was showing any problems. But I did get my mowing done without any help 😊
I too use a cane. I was crossing a street once and a woman tried to barge past me. I banged my cane down hard in front of her feet. She soon backed off.
I LOVE IT..I am a 100% disabled Navy Veteran and understand this and it should never happen ..
Breaks my heart that the disabled Are treated so badly
Anyone that full of hate doesn't change.
I have seen people treat people in wheel chairs in Australia just like this in the worst possible way
Yes, Australia is now harvesting what they put in the ground.
I also heard some Australians are quite racist towards asians. My professor was chinese and she spoke really good english but still was mistreated over there. I wonder why that is...
@@0zone247 it's just bad for people with disabilities that would like to eat a meal at a restaurant, they complete deny service to people in wheel chairs
@@0zone247 it’s part of their culture that’s the truth
One of my favourite channels! ❤️
Thank you so much 🙏💛
Treat other people the way you want to be treated. No one is better than the other, and besides, you should never make someone feal lower level only because of something they can't control.
I love this channels so much I have watched lots of ur videos, its not just very entertaining but also very educating & addictive 🧡 People need to treat everyone equally, don't look at their material or physical 😒
Their faces at the end of the video....priceless!!!! Great video I really enjoyed this.💛💛
Thank you Lia, glad you enjoyed it 🙏💛
Sometimes I don't understand why some people in our society behave like a jerk ..... Lots of Respect for this lady she wount gave up
I never new that people in wheel chair's where treated like this!
They aren't.
@@cristian-bull - actually, they are.
@@gaffawebber we probably disagree on what "like" means
@@cristian-bull - sure, BooBoo. The ADA was FINALLY passed for a reason. Also, as someone who used to work retail/service jobs....these types of things have and DO happen. Sure - this is a dramatization. However, to categorically deny that people in wheelchairs have been treated like this is not only historically inaccurate, it's morally bankrupt as well.
@@gaffawebber I've never seen or heard of anythingn even remotely as bad as this dramatisation and it's highly unlikely, specially cuz not only you need an asshole to do it, it was two employees and no wheel chair person would insist on having the service after being misstreated so many times.
You literally need three very crazy people together for something like this to happen and the odds are infinitely small.
Have they been mistreated as in one of this situations? probably, but definitely not the whole thing. Not even half of this made up situation.
What restaurant would ever do something this horrible?
I am a retired nurse and have worked with folks both mentally and physically disabled. Loved this.
Thank you Mitzi! ❤️🙏
Here's what the lesson to all of us.... Don't Ever Judge A Book By It's Cover
"They call me The Executioner".

Love it!! 😅🤣😂🤣😅
Bravo. This story was Brilliant just Brilliant. This has actually happened. Unfortunately too many times.
Thank you for watching! Your comment is so precious. We hope that our stories can contribute to raising awareness.
@@DramatizeMe I believe it will. Bravo for making this happen 😊
Wow just read through the comments and I'd say your on the perfect path. Keep it up. The world needs this education. PS. Tried answering your question who's in the wrong but your filled up it said. I believe both are guilty of being arrogant. Being filled up said to me that your doing a super job. Also never seen a filled one before. Bravo 👏
You know when I had a broken ankle years ago and was using a wheel chair for a short while, I was shocked at how badly people treated me. 😳
Hello Darlene
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
Lĺo
me: *2 minutes in the video* i have a feeling that mrs white is the critic
(later)
brooke: *reveals to be the critic*
me: called it!
I guessed wrongly as I thought she would have some influential/powerful/well-known friends joining her for dinner and the staff would regret the way they treated her.
@@rogerfaint499 I had the same thought. I've read too many webnovels
Wow you're a fucking genius you get a gold star
Looking down on Person with Disabilities is a big no-no, she needs to show these discriminatory people a lesson about treating people like her right. Justice will be served!!!
In the United States of America this would be a violation of the Americans with Disabilities act... As well as discrimination
