We catch up with beauty vlogger Zoella who gives us her top body confidence tips. Zoella is working with Lil-Lets on 'Becoming A Teen' -- a campaign that aims to help reassure and educate young girls on the issues they face when going into their teenage years. I love how Zoe is so open about everything, it comes with pressure yes but she's the perfect role model. People saying that she's pretty and that makes her a bad role model because she doesn't know what its like to be 'not pretty or thin' well, you don't choose your face and I bet she doesn't stay that thin with no effort whatsoever :)
I agree but zoe is a bit insecure about her body because she is so slim, strangers would sometimes go up to her and say get some meat on those bones ect, which is just rude. And she had tried to put weight on when she was younger but she couldn't because of her metabolism or whatever it is hahah so basically she doesn't have to try at all to be that slim but she has to try really hard to put more weight on which she wanted to do, but she has now learnt that nobody's perfect and she is the way she is:)
Tips on how to be body confident:
1) Have a perfect body
2) See rule 1
But you shouldn't have to have a "perfect" body to feel confident because there is no such "perfect standards" because after all a perfect body has to be kinda skinny but who has really made that a rule? Supermodels?

She comes across really well but I have to say that it's pointless getting her to talk about body confidence as she's naturally so slim and petite not to mention pretty - what does she have to worry about - they need to get someone who actually struggles with the way they look
Just because you think she's pretty or perfect dosent mean she thinks that
If someone struggles with the way they look then they aren't necessarily going to have any tips on being confident. Everybody has body confidence issues and zoella is very thin and has a boyish figure and she cannot out weight on. Some people struggle and get called allsorts for being that way. I agree she is really pretty but that doesn't mean that she thinks it too.
I hate that you think that just because she is slim and pretty it means she doesn't have anything to worry about. This is why people have body confidence, from people like you. The poor girl suffers from anxiety and panic attacks, and she has the amazing courage to show her face no matter what she looks like to around 4 million people. That in itself must be terrifying and she must always worry about it

Sarah Wilson although she is slim, the last way i would describe her body would be boyish. she has a really nice figure. and yeah, just because she's very slim doesn't necessarily mean she has body confidence, she has said she doesn't like wearing shorts so much because she feels her legs are too "stick thin".

Update on my new room
I also filmed about this! not exactly the same topic, it was more as story time about how i became confident about a body that i used to hate! i hope someone sees this and it helped them!
I would love to be able to tell my mum about my anxiety and panic attacks. We have a close relationship but I'm to afraid she'd think I'm lying or something like that but it's probably just my paranoia taking over my thoughts. I've had anxiety attacks and had to suffer through them without her support because she doesn't know. One of my sisters know and some of my friends and my best friend. It's slightly easier to cope now because my best friend can calm me down but I want/need to tell my mum.. I just don't know how...
+Stacie Redpath I understand, do you know if your mum ever suffered from anxiety, i never knew that my mum did so maybe you could start with asking her that and just see if it helps to let her know you have panic attacks. I promise you once you do tell her you can get help by someone and have a much better understanding of them. i promise you i did the same thing and it helps tremendously so i urge you to just ask her if you dont already know if she has ever suffered from anxiety
+Rabbit Nibbles The other day I asked her if she had any mental disorders (depression, anxiety, paranoia etc) and she said that she had postnatal depression after having me and only me (she had 9 kids). It made me feel really bad and so my paranoia didn't help with that and so when she told me I thought I had made her depressed and I thought because of that she didn't want me. I excused myself and went upstairs. I had a panic attack and my sister walked in whilst it was happening. I couldn't say it was anything different so I explained to her what it was. I'm to afraid to tell her, as I said before, because I think she think I'm lying. I think my sister has anxiety and panic attacks so if my mum hasn't witnessed one that I had she would think I was lying. I might tell my dad before I tell her because he cares to much about me and would get me an anxiety test or something like that at the doctors to fully know if I had it or not.
+Stacie Redpath Im glad that at least you are more comfortable in talking to your dad about it, and if worst comes to worst and your mum doesnt believe you your sister will always back you up with that matter because she believes you. I know i dont know you but i do understand this matter my dad still doesnt know and i get that this is a touchy subject but i promise you your parents are their to support you and help you through the hard things in life
