I agree. Solid recovery despite the string failure. 0:49 Prime example of why you should always have a backup guitar on deck RTG when the inevitable will happen. Horns up to Chuck and to the Tech for making this happen so he could finish the song. 🤘
i will forever love chuck shuldiner. he is one of my masters of guitar love death band forever ...i wanna say hello yo all og you friens from mexico... usa..canada. and all countries that love feath metal and love playing an instrument...music is freedom and happines. you heart..doit forever...
Fuck that was epic!! Wish I could of been there to see chuck sing without his signature stealth bc rich, that’s just rare but strings pop.. r.i.p Chuck Schuldiner
Mmh, strangely inconsistent tempo by the band. I don't think Chuck's guitar was the issue, they played much slower than the usual before that string broke. Anyways, Chuck gets back on stage like a fucking boss catching up with the lead and showing an insane accuracy. Gotta love this band!
@@Noratakowa i think his solos are great for leprosy era death, very primitive and heavy shit rozz did during his time with death, rozz i think wasn't just that much of a good guitarist in terms of solo and technicality, but i don't think his solos suck.
@@Noratakowa that's true, james murphy is amazing and in fact my favorite guitarist out of every other death lineup, but you can't say rozz sucks either because he did help with songwriting on certain riffs used in spiritual.
Chuck never grew old, forever young, RIP, you magnificent bastard...
I honestly couldn’t even imagine what he would look like old
@@jashinacolyte4277 I imagine he would be one hell of a cool old dude, making incredible metal.
Badass recovery

What a pro.

we love death metal here in Canada man keep it heavy, we still making bands over here
WHAT A GOD
This band has always been one of the greatest death metal bands easily.
Chuck's guitar Went Out Of Tune this is the first video I ever seen where he stopped singing and playing and walked away to get his guitar tuned
The lowest string broke. You can see it popping off when the riff he was playing stops
Went more than out of tune mate
It when OUT OF TOUCH hahaha what a good joke please kill me
His E (D in his tuning) string broke
Fuck that was epic!! Wish I could of been there to see chuck sing without his signature stealth bc rich, that’s just rare but strings pop.. r.i.p Chuck Schuldiner
Godfather
2:10 I'm really curious now, were Korn guitarplayers were isnpired by the stage presence of Paul?
Haha, reminds me of Munky!
WOW Gosebumbs all over...Thanks for sharing this historic Video! Met Chuck once and will never forget!!!
That was rad
Wow a guitarless chuck so epic!
It would have been pretty sweet if Chuck just did the entire song with vocals only. You know, the whole hamming it up as a frontman who sings only.
Agree!.....what a Pro....
is that a Sortilege shirt?
Yeah! Exactly.
That was Chuck's favorite band
Chuck is a God. Godfather of metal. We are swine compared to him and his amazing music. I wish I could of been there
Best thing in this video is the awesome Sortilege tee he wears
Why did death always have so many technical difficulties
What line up is this? Chuck, Sean, Steve, and Paul?
Yeah, except one, is Scott Carino on bass, because Steve DiGiorgio had a commitment with his band Sadus.
Forgotten Past thanks!
γεια σου Chuck ηγέτη, δε θα σε ξεχάσουμε ποτέ!
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Максимально эпично зашёл на хату после порванной струны
внатуре
2:08 love that mosh stance
Beyond words 1:33 to 2:20
Nunca habria imaginado ver a chuck cantar sin una guitarra, es el unico live en el que lo hace?
Este fue el único que yo he visto hasta hoy

D string*
How the hell do you break the thickest string
Whole band were totally pro there, not just Chuck. Probably terrified of getting fired!
Did chuck ever fire anyone he seems too nice too?
@@jimbo4014 once he fired the whole Spiritual Healing line-up because they went on a tour to Europe without him.
He didnt have a backup axe?
I think that bc rich stop producing stealth guitars at that time
ꬸϟɦተⲁɼ he had a green stealth
Chuck didn’t have a back up guitar? Is he waiting for his tech to change his string? Lol that’s kinda ridiculous tbh
Good thing it doesn't seem to have a floyd rose haha
Poul Masvidal's solo is so better than Rick Rozz's solo in this song
Rick's solos were always just him shaking the whammy bar around a bunch and I like the sound but Paul was a much more capable player
@@danplaysguitar6706 Thank you so much .
And Rick's solo are sucks, arn't them?

But james murphy's solo in spiritual healing are kick ass
