Looks like 140MPH+ to me! Incredible build!!! Can you share the parts you used to relocate the steering servo? I eventually will go dual motor. Currently run a ak917 with a Hobbwing 120 and ezrun motor with mod 1 gears - she gets up to 65mph before the tires get unstable. I have a handful of their roadcars. Shocks in the rear are definitely soft. I have found red loctite on most of the pinions and the spur. Like the challenge of building them up... and they look so authentic to their inspiration.
Dude wrecks it because he expects to ham fist 100mph out the box and instead of tuning and learning the platform theows money at it . . I have the cf 917 rtr which is the same thing without the spoiler and ive put it on its head 3 times . Killed a set of tires . And spoke in tongues of anger at why it wont just go straight. . But i kept tinkering and making adjustments. Didnt worry about speed or buying parts the car wasnt ready for . I got it to act right . 4s with minor steering i can launch from flat to top speed like im actually driving it . And ill tell you it appreciates a light touch. If you say its junk or sub par because of some locktite im calling that youre being over expecting of what is a companies first attempts into the speed world using a friggin 10th scale touring car . How many of those do you see other companies make? Like that are successful without essentially making it a Frankenstein? Im late to everything and hell you may have already parted it out but if not, dont look at it like a LEGO to show off . Make it a performer. God speed friend
Man well worded my friend. Rlaarlo is a 3 year old company, with that said Traxxas and other large companies better watch out cause theyre already a threat. Love their stuff, especually for the price
A threat to Traxxas or ARRMA??? I would not go that far. That is a bit of a stretch. You cannot put this in the same Universe of any ARRMA on road vehicle. Not even close. You have never driven an on road Arrma vehicle if you are making that comment. I am not associated with ARRMA by any means and I feel disrespected by that comment. This is in no way close to the quality, speed or durability of ARRMA or Traxxas. Don't get me wrong, I think that this is a good car but to compare it to my Felony or any of my other ARRMA vehicles would be absolutely insane, ignorant and unfair to ARRMA. I have a Felony, Typhon, Talion and Fireteam. None of those cars had any of this issues that I experienced with all of my RLAARLO vehicles. RLAARLO is a step above toy grade with all of their vehicles and that's just the truth. They have great potential for being a great product but all I am saying is that they are not there yet to be comparing to "ANY" of the major RC Car manufacturers.
I did not take it out the box and went ham. You can't go ham with a 2S battery and the 48 pitch gearing provided by RLAARLO. You can't go ham with the tires provided by RLAARLO. They are definitely not hoons. Knowing what I know now, If I had the option to buy this for 350 or a Felony for 500, I would save a bit longer to get the Felony and probably buy the RLAARLO as a roller. I am not the only person that had the same experience with these cars. Checkout other reviews. If you got a great build and many others had the same issues that I had, means that there are quality control issues at the factory. Some are built correctly and some are built like poo poo. I am happy that you had a good experience but that does not mean that since "You" had a good experience, that it is a good car for everyone. Legi Masterpieces and RLAARLO are polar opposites.
Again, I appreciate the honesty. These things are costing people a lot of money with parts and crashes😬
