tks for your work hard, love to subscribe your channel. One more thing, could you pls create new video about setup multi domain with MailCow? Tks again
I love your videos, I run docker / portainer on contabo. I can install mailcow no problems and get to it via 8443. How ever I also run nginx reverse proxy manager and would like to be able to put mailcow behind the proxy manager. I cannot seem to get it to work, can you please do a video or give suggestions on how to do this? I have tried to follow guides here or there and cannot get it to work. Please and thankyou!
Can you make guide using VPS as vpn server and your local VM as mailserver to use static IP of VPS. I feel like it doesn't give a much power when you get cheap instance. I can create little better VM and forward traffic using VPS.
Greetings, I would like to ask you for help. I have self-hosted dockers projects and public IP address on my server. That is why there is my NGINX proxy server (also docker) manages connections to these dockers. I do not know how to set up my NGINX server to forward the communication to Mailcow. Can you please give me some advice on how to solve it, please?
In the requirements, you have listed "VPS or cloud", both of which I take to mean third-party-provided hosting solutions. I am planning to host my server on my local NAS server (a Synology 920+.) I have already been hosting an SMTP server, provided by Synology, for about a year, so the configuration is good. It is trusted by all, and set up in a way where changing out the server implementation will not affect the DNS configuration in the slightest. My question is this: Will the steps in the video work for self hosted servers. I have not yet watched it, but do not want to waste my time if it will not work for me. Thanks, and you've got my like / sub either way. : )
A bit more detail regarding "changing the implementation will not affect DNS...": I wrote a cli program that reads a configuration (ANY configuration, I used AI, so it is self-learning) and automatically writes/includes the required DNS records. It is highly configurable as well. In the case where user already has a server and records exist, the old records are updated and reused. I designed it this way because DNS records are a hassle and I knew that otherwise I would be doing it over and over. It hasn't been tested much, so I know there will be bugs, but it will definitely get me most of the way...
Let me clarify again, self hosted servers don't have any limit. This means though you can send unlimited, but ISP might not accept unlimited emails from your server if it's new.
really thk dude, u did a great job that helped me a lot, u got a new suscriber

Your ISP shouldn't block port 25
What will be the sending limit any idea

what is the limit for sending email? whether it depends on the server we have or unlimited on all servers
There's no limit on sending at all. It's your server. But note that individual ISP might put restrictions on number of emails that they can be accept.
@@inGuide thanks for reply, Which is the best ISP that you have ever tried?. thanks
