There is a place for everyone in the hobby to settle in and get comfortable. I personally don't have the mindset of high end or low end items. For the most part, the prices are dictated by the buyers. Items that are hot and selling usually have a slight premium. Items that are cold get discounted. It is the way of the free market. Smart buyers buy in "off season" or learn to successfully forecst a market. The other percentage of buyers will often overpay. Everyone....do your research, take the time to learn. Blueridge has been saying these words from the beginning. Be smart and enjoy what you do.

The same thing happens with collecting coins, as you already know. Your LCS will not buy a number of type of coins , but there are collectors will buy them. The old purist collectors will not buy the minor stuff either, but again there are collectors who want them. Just collect what makes you happy and do not overpay. We all can't afford the $150.00 or $800.00 plus notes.

Recently, I've searched $8000 in $1 bills and found just 18 star notes & nothing more. It's getting harder and harder to find anything fancy let alone just basic star notes. Guess it's just part of the hunt sometimes.

You are one of the reasons I have really gotten into coins and currency. Thanks for all of your knowledge! I have gotten to the point where I'm checking every coin and every bill I get. Finally sold my first coin on ebay that I found bank roll hunting. 😎

I personally found several notes like these in my last hunt. Thanks for the video as now I know that there are some people who like these. Honestly a few extra dollars is nice. I’ll keep the one’s I wish to collect and pass on the rest of the good ones to others.

Thank you for the vid, and the great advice, Shaun! I'm glad your vocal problem seems to have cleared up, and I hope the wife's ankle is allowing her to get around alittle better. I'm still around, enjoying the teachings you're freely giving, and I'm looking forward to the next one. Have a good one, buddy.✌️

Thanks for all you do! I am simi new to this hobby. But have always had older coins and had little knowledge. But last 2 years I've gained a lot of knowledge and am not able to spend a lot on coins but I do trade and constantly roll hunt and have some fairly nice coins. Even sold my first coin on eBay recently. A 98 wide AM. I had found it in change and have 2 more that I have found in rolls! No shame in that. I think the "newer" coins are the future of this hobby. I'm saying anything 50's and newer can be had cheap and will do nothing but get more valuable in time. Investment is the way I look at it. Newer really nice or error coins will explode in 10 years or even less. Just my opinion. And thanks for talking about currency being in rang for collectors that can't spend hundreds of dollars. 😎

Yes sir, thank you for the lookout! At the end of the day, the numbers, the market doesn’t lie. There’s a seat for everyone at the table. Regardless of budget. Just know what you’re buying and it’s all fine and dandy.

You are 100% correct. Used to watch guy but he's nothing but the lowest level of pathetic key board warriors who loves to call sellers "scammers" for clicks. But when confronted, acts as though he is doing justice with no real proof of his definition of scam. His channel is absolute pure trash. BlueRidgeSilverhound & few others are pure class and don't shame honest sellers for views.

Nobody's paying 27 bucks for a 53000035. Checked the bid history & it's schilled just like their auction b4 this one?

    • @justinhughes4195

Ebay only shows what it sold for. If it was a schill bid then Ebay would shut it down

each serial of eight numbers is a unique serial but the eye likes to see simpler combinations. I recently bought a very used but good 1985 $20 with repeating numbers 4x2 here in Italy. paid €20+send a total of 27.50. it is very nice to see two banknotes of €1 and $2 with the same serial number, it means that there is work and research behind them and for collectors it is a nice sight, especially for those who are not American and have no possibility of finding combinations. Unfortunately I would like to get a $2 red1928 Tate. but being in Europe I would pay too much the price. but it doesn't mean that sooner or later I'll do something crazy
