So many wonderful things. It's modular, that mid-room fireplace, the fact it's called parents room (not master or primary), the vastness of windows to the outside and open floor plan we take for granted today but that was a revelation back then, the conversation pit so as not to block the outdoor view, Girard's textile plan!, the lush landscaping/trees, ALL SO THOUGHTFUL.
The pan and scan does a disservice to the design, especially for the plan and section. The plans need to be seen in their entirety to be understood. A slide show would be far more informative, even at the expense of movement for 'interest'. Please reconsider your use of pan and scan in the future and allow us to actually see and appreciate the design. Regards and thanks for posting this architecture.
@@LouisKahnFiles As I said, I am still pleased you brought this intriguing Saarinen house to our attention. And the pan and scan is always a tempting option because the motion often keeps people's interest. All the best. Cheers

Gracias. Un trabajo hermoso.
What a beautiful home and so far from the monstrosities being built now.
Consolation pit. Might be better than any conversation.

Thank you! Yes I am still playing around with the format to see what works best and agree that this sometimes isn’t the best move.
