I've been changing the cambelt on my 89 Esprit only to find the water pump leaking from the weep hole so I've taken it all apart again and everything else to get the pump out. I'm now at the stage where I'm fitting the rebuilt pump and reassembling the stuff I had to remove to get the pump out, all laying on my back under the car. I was casting about for helpful videos and I found your channel. I've subscribed & I'm going to watch all your videos, good stuff. I think next time I'm going to remove the engine and transaxle as you have here, I'm sure it would take less time, enable a better, cleaner job. Great channel.
Thanks for the kind comment. I've completed a couple water pump replacements with motor in car. For me the most frustrating part of the job was trying to mount the new pump without being able to really see what you're doing. I always fear I'll mess up the form-a-gasket while trying to line it up. Engine out is about a 4-hour job, but once out, you can do so much more!
@@west-cam Exactly - clean up the bay, paint everything, your engine looks so nice! I've taken a Transaxle out and rebuilt it (Renault UN1) and it looked like your engine when I put it back. I really need a bigger workshop to pull the engine. Good luck with the channel.

Well done sir and that is one clean engine. I enjoyed the tips. Hopefully it started and ran well and no more leak.
