Just managed to clear 32 Fear Surface the other day, and boy oh boy was it comically terrifying. Getting a billion zombies on Olympus with the horde vow is funny as hell, just seeing a zombie appocalypse limping towards you, especially if they're all armored and with speed perks from the benefits vow. But getting a room with 10 armored 2 perks rocket satyrs and shooting automatons is just pure survival hell. The massive hp pools on those coupled with vow of damage letting them snipe you across the room for 60 damage a pop is just brutal. Supergiant should really revise those numbers on those enemies. My lucky break build was Nyx black coat with Hestia scorch cast + gale force + air quality + lightning lance and Zeus special, which would get pretty much insta-triggered from the quality air fryer damage. All in all, a very hard, but very fun run, so can't wait to see your attemps at 32+ Fear surface! Keep staying awesome! P.S. Frinos tanked like 90% of Proms punches. Just like "No blud"🐸
insane and congrats I also did 32 fear but I had everything on except max health and dmg and lower arcana/ I think I took off the timer or had it at 9 minutes on the attempt I won I can't remember
@boat3d just FYI since you didn't specifically mention it, in case you didn't notice you managed to keep the experimental hammy all the way through to the end this run and one of the black coat runs too. Looks like you can keep it until the final boss if you get lucky with just enough free rooms.
I had to learn to call out Prometheus' phase change attacks using 1, 2, and 3. 1 - left/top. 2 - mid. 3 - right/bottom. So much easier for me to memorize with a quick string of numbers, than going for full words lol (also, finally beat him, and funny enough it was on my worst run where I lost 2DD before Eris)
Dio is a total comedy act, but I like it very much. At least someone is enjoying the situation, kek. Totally offtopic: you will thoroughly enjoy Vow of wandering in rift of Thessaly, I can assure you of that. Especially on narrow ships. Ask me how I know.
They shouldve kept the block effect on one of the axes, maybe Than axe because it rewards you for being untouched. It allowed for so much skill expression, it was sick
How do you get your magick back so fast? Also to me it seems a little weird that more often we seem to be looking to spend our magick than gain enough to do something cool, seems to lead to more of just spamming either normals or omega moves & not using too much of the other. Also I didn't realize they changed the slow motion to be more channel speed, I agree that's pretty nice.
everytime he uses omega special on a regular cast it blows it up(think geyser spout) and he gains magick back(lucid gain) it's a goated setup works with geyser spout and hexes that give you long times of invul such as dark side and total eclipse, wolf howl and phase shift can work but you kinda have to go a little out of your way. Lucid gain without these setups is basically like getting a chronos survival room in oceanus lol
Now I need to use that charon with three omega specials... But then how did you already start doing fears in the surface!? Also how much fear do we have now?
From what I'm seeing about the Sorc Nerf is that everyone who is great at the game *cough* boated *cough* don't mind the nerf however a lot of people actually hate the nerf me included. Axe Block I can live without it hurts but sorc slow being put on a keepsake hurtsss badly.

It stacks and can fire 3 times. Pro tip, you can spam your cast and it will activate each time the omega special fires

I got trapped in a room on Olympus. All the enemies were gone but the doors wouldn't open because it said enemy nearby. I had to give up the run
