Boxer and Yellow were the two original legends. The icons of worldwide Starcraft and the upper echelon of skill play. The feel of being part of this game and its community can never be replicated. As a high elo player it felt like there was a ton of opportunities, and a lot of players were very talented and it felt like you were rubbing elbows with this caliber of a player or at the very least as a player turned also observer you just felt as though you were very close to, or a very meaningful part of the international movement this game brought with it. The vibes will never be replicated.

Actuuallly... the pro-gaming scene is expanding but to be blunt- the amount of micro required for these older games is on an entirely other level compared to new games. The skill-cap for older games was MUCH higher than newer games. Developers make the newer games easier to play intentionally, primarily to attract more new players.
a six minute game wouldnt have made much of a "old legends match" dont you think? and besides it being nice for the crowd, maybe the two old timers wanted to enjoy their time in limelight for a little bit longer, i cant really blame them for that. also if you were expecting them to still be able to play at their top caliber.. especially boxer who has been out of competitive play for how long now..? come on..
he could of beat yellow during the initial 6 rine attack, and in the case where he decided to suicide on yellows 3rd base. I think he did it to just let yellow have some time.
Ok no nuke, this wasn't revenge, I've seen many yellow v boxer matches before and Yellow regularly stomps boxer. I know that was pretty awful muta micro but they still don't really play in the same league...
