- What is going on with Dollar Tree makeup? This is actually my first time ever doing a full face of Dollar Tree makeup. This video was requested by one of our amazing friends here on the channel, Brenda! Thanks so much for the great request and for pushing me to finally give Dollar Tree makeup a true try. I have tried a few things here and there, but never a full face! It was very eye-opening and interesting, to say the least! I hope you all enjoy the video and be prepared to RUN to your Dollar Tree!!

Finally! An over 50 UA-cam channel with someone that has my coloring!!! Most of the ones I watch -Risa, Angie, Mandy, etc- are all blonde to light brown! This makes me so happy

I went to Dollar Tree after watching this video. My dollar tree was out of the foundation you used but they did have the same brand in another foundation called Dew Glow Foundation. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I went back and bought a second one. Surprisingly the one I got was a good shade match. I have recommended this video to friends and have people buying the foundation at dollar tree. I can’t believe how skin like the foundation is.

I love the eye concealer, it has a light and smooth coverage that lasts well and doesn't enhance your lines! The mascara is nice too, they even had it in brown, that I prefer for me! 😍

I really love the toni black eyeliner for lashes. That stuff works so good. Im not good with that glue stuff. My fingers dont work.

I regretted the few makeup purchases I made there years ago, but I've been wanting to go check it out since I saw they have finger puffs. I also got the lashes and they were ok but pretty plasticky looking, the ones from Miss A are exponentially better for about the same price. Can't wait to see if it's better though! Glad Laura covers affordable stuff 💜

I haven’t used dollar tree makeup because I didn’t think it would last. But wow! It looks beautiful! I want to go see if my store has that lip balm. I have realized that I really don’t care for a lipstick. But I love a good natural colored balm. Thanks for doing this look. It came out so beautiful!
I used to feel the exact same way about DT makeup!! If you see the foundation and/or concealer, definitely pick them up and give them a try! It's definitely worth trying out! I love a slight “wing” look so I buy the Ioni individual lash pieces and place 2-3 on the outer corner of my upper lashes. I use the short ones and it looks so natural but dramatic at the same time. Ioni also makes a black eyelash glue that goes on like an eyeliner. I’ve had mixed results with it but it’s not the worst I’ve used.
I actually have those individual lashes. I will definitely give them a try. Good to know about the glue. That would be perfect for when you are in a pinch! 😘
It's almost too good to be true isn't it? It was so fun to watch you discovering all these great products from the Dollar Tree. I have so many favorites. The key is that if you try something and you like it you have to go back like the next day and get back ups because the store may never have them again or they might have them in a few months or in a year or you just never know. It's like a treasure hunt.

@@LauraFagelman Oh no that's too bad they sell out so quick. That foundation and concealer will come back in so keep tracking. B pure always has items coming into the Dollar Tree the essentially ageless line is really nice to so try those out if you find them. If you see an LA colors nude Glam display buy one of everything! I'm serious. Best liquid eyeshadows I've ever tried. The nude Glam lipsticks are so creamy and they smell like salted caramel.

This is impressive!! Next time I'm at the Dollar Tree... 😏 I'm really interested in that mascara! Years ago, I used a mascara by Prestige called Total Intensity. It had a really fat brush on the wand that was a tear drop shape very similar to this one by Toni but the tip comes down to a smaller diameter - I. Loved. It. And the formula was perfect for me. I haven't seen it anywhere for a while, though. So, how did the Toni mascara hold up? Flaking or smudging?
I hope you don't worry too much about inadvertently using the filter! We who know you *know* that you are genuine and honest! And you are so right - how do these companies charge *so much* for their products when these waaayyy less expensive products perform at least as well and sometimes better!? 🤔🙄

I actually say the name of the brades and the shades in the video. I usually list everything in my videos, but you really can't purchase anything online, and all DT are different
They have powder blushes and bronzers at the dollar tree🙂and BTW it's ioni instead of toni🙂their makeup is decent and I like it🙂la colors also has contour and highlighter sticks and a blush stick at dollar tree and sometimes lipsticks and their twist up eyeliner is decent and lasts if you set it with an eyeshadow🙂but I always set and smudge my eyeliner and then blend with my transitional colors🙂in highschool I'd use a charcoal eyeliner thinly line around my lashes and use a taupe brown eyeshadow and use a tiny bit of black on the thinly on my eyeliner use a mascara that was subtle and put on clear lip gloss maybe just contour with no blush and a tiny bit of foundation🙂I'm 36 but I never was into the makeup trends🙂just enough to look natural and then in my 20s I wore more and more makeup as I got older realized I could wear natural or heavy makeup🙂then now being in my 30s I still can wear alot of makeup but I don't need alot because I still look the same as I did when I was 21🙂people don't believe I'm 36 sometimes🙂even though I notice whatever texture or imperfections are enhanced by certain finishes🙂sometimes too much powder brings out my texture🙄I can wear matte but it has to be a satin matte like Mac studio fix that has some dimension to it🙂I've noticed luminous makeup with a skin like finish brings out my skins beauty and luminosity🙂so to me it varies🙂I also have combination skin so I need to balance out the finishes of my makeup so it's not too dry and not too oily🙂so for me everything varies🙂
Thank you for all the information! I did go back to my DT and about 5 other ones looking for more lol. I picked up some more and plan on doing a follow-up video soon! I honestly didn't wear a lot of makeup until I started my channel lol. I always was complexion obsessed, but not eyeshadow. I now have learned how to work eyeshadows with my hooded eyes and enjoy palettes more. You're very lucky to have a youthful look and skin! @@LauraFagelman not to be rude just being honest .. your too young and too pretty 🤩 for that dark look listen , Something unusual started happening in the 1950s: women's brows got heavy. Liz Taylor and Audrey Hepburn could pull this look off -- barely -- but on most women these dark, dramatic brows looked bizarre.

@joansmith6844 Well, this would have been a more tactful approach than saying persons eyebrows loom like electrical tape. I mean..come on!! I happen to like my brows just as is. But you're entitled to your opinion, just wish you could be mindful of how you present your wording. It comes across as very harsh, hurtful, and rude.
@@LauraFagelman well then .. lol keep up with those dark black filled in brows but it wound look better , u would look younger with fluffy maybe by placing real looking hair strokes instead of complete thick black u need more natural not u know 1959’s
@@joansmith6844 it “wound” look better if you’d just work on your personality instead of picking apart someone’s appearance. Once the makeup was done, the brows were fine. She has dark hair and dark eyes, so they look great. I think it’s a dramatic look that not everyone can pull off but she does beautifully. Where’s your channel with makeup advice? Can’t wait to watch it.
That foundation is my favorite now. I have a lot of high end foundations but I never use them anymore. I tried to stock up on them when I found them because they prob won't have them anymore.😢
OMG!! I was thinking the same exact thing. I have reached for this since the video! It's so hydrating! The concealer is super nice as well. I have super dehydrated undereyes, and the concealer works amazing to keep them from looking dried out. I'm so happy you love it too. Hope you don't live in MI, we may be tackling each other at the DT to get our hands on more foundation 😂😉😘
@@LauraFagelman lol. I'm in Kansa, small town Kansas, we have one ok Dollar tree and the next closest is 30 mins away 😔. Otherwise I have to drive almost 2 hours to go to any decent ones lol. BUT, my husband works in Kansas City so I have him check out the dollar trees for me there. I'm going to be in a panic when I start to run out of that foundation. 😬
