As a Tanzanian, I want to say a huge thank you for choosing to volunteer here. Your efforts are truly appreciated, and you're helping to shine a light on the positive things happening in our country. I was particularly touched by the presents and efforts made. It's clear that you made a real connection with the Children you met here. Do Enjoy Zanzibar and I open to see you Soon ❤️

You are a beautiful soul ..I just starting your channel, your journey....this is amazing what you are doing...I can see you have passion, love for this and connect well with the children and people there ,this is something I have interest to do, I mean to volunteer overseas, Africa.......thank you for sharing... plz stay safe.... sending blessings from Australia.... keep on keeping on Emma Nicole....God bless to everyone 🙏💞🙏🌏
Thank you so much! ❤️
I managed the volunteer deployments for a few years and this is quite common, that some of the “more experienced” volunteers might behave in this kind of way. Good that these were their last days, otherwise the situation might have escalated over the next weeks.
Oh really! I wouldn’t say they were experienced at teaching at all though hahaha so it made no sense
@@EmmaNicole With "more experienced" I meant the volunteers who had been volunteering longer at the place :)
Of course, makes sense I suppose! Well it got better for me the following week thankfully 😃 thanks for watching & commenting 🫶🏼❤️
Awooo so beautiful job God bless you always
Love this please do more!
There are more coming soon 😃💕
Nice content
Wow your sacrifice is admirable but in a new backward place please be extra careful for your own personal safety. Thanks. Take care.
Thanks! I didn’t really feel unsafe there tbh, the village was very friendly 😊
if u go out wondering in the bush just have guides with you etc.@@EmmaNicole
Is it cheap there to live? Like how far can £10 get you ?
It is very cheap (to us). I was ‘living’ for free as part of volunteering but I did buy some extra things of my own. Hmm for example… a 14L bottle of water was around £1.50, a drink like Coke was around 20p, a fresh pineapple was 70p, I paid £15 for a 24GB SIM card.. etc. 😃
tell me more about this emma i want to know where can i contact you thank you
I volunteered through Worldpackers, there’s info in the description box 😊
emma i applaud u for the work that u are doing kudos, but wouldnt it be better to train teachers that live there do teach these kids? 1 your not in harms way 2 u dont know the culture and 3 to me it would kinda condescending that we need foreigners to come in and teach us because out of all the people that live here we arent smart enough to teach this material to u guys on our own, and as a parent no disrecpect to your age but u look like your 17, best of luck
There were some teachers there and I’m not sure what training they’ve had but they also watched our classes to learn from techniques that we use in Europe which they hadn’t seen. They do teach classes of their own but if volunteers are there, of course they make use of their language skills. 1.) I didn’t feel in harm’s way there, 2.) I went there to learn the culture and 3) they didn’t find it condescending at all, in fact the opposite 😊 if you’re learning a language then having native speakers there is the most beneficial thing to you (I know this myself because I speak 3 languages and being with native speakers is the best way to learn). Also I’m not 17, I’m 25 😊 thanks for the compliment ✨
