There’s so many connections to characters too in the mcu like agent trip who’s grandpa was part of the howling commandos and so was the principal at midtown highschool where peter Parker goes
I always wondered: If hydra weapons are powered by the Spacestone, and everyone who gets shot just kinda vanishes, is it possible, that they just get teleported somewhere else?
JakuCHI 23 I’m assuming that’s exactly what happens, considering the space stone is primarily used to create portals in the MCU; This is also supported by the fact that Red Skull didn’t die at the end of Cap TFA but instead was teleported to Vormir.
After seeing the Red Skull return in Avengers Infinity War, I started to think the same thing. All of the people who were shot by Hydra’s WW2 Spacestone weapons had to of been teleported somewhere else in space time. It totally makes sense considering the The Red Skull teleported to Vorimir after the events of Captain America The First Avenger.
Correction.. The Tesseract powered the Hydra Weapons.. The Teseract a k.a The Cosmic Cube a Cosmicly created container to fold Space and the energies Therein back upon themselves so that a whole universe wouldn't push away and destroy the current one contained and stored the power and was atphened by Arnim Zola to power hydra weapons like an infinitely charged car battery( primitive short sighted humans).
One of the the things I noticed from repeatedly seeing this movie (Cap is my favorite!) is the parallel between Red Skull testing Zola's tech and Steve's transformations scene. In the first, Schmidt tests the machine, Zola stabilizes it at 70% and Schmidt pushes it to full capacity to complete the exchange and harness the tesseract; the creation of the hero's main problem. In similar fashion, Steve undergoes the transformation by being subjected to the Vitarays. When Stark reaches 70%, Steve cries out and Peggy wants them to stop but Steve pushes through. The machine runs at 100% and the hero is created. A threat is created and a hero is born in response and they have parallel origins. The story telling is quite good!
You didn’t say anything about red skull saying You could have the power of the gods! Yet you wear a flag on your chest and think you fight a battle of nations! Cap indeed ends up controlling the power of Thor
The character that Laura Haddock is playing here is actually Meredith Quill's mom, Peter's grandmother! I don't know if that was the intention when filming, but it's at least been retconned to be the case!
Well, Caps my favorite and even I was underwhelmed. I love the movie and chalked it up to a smaller budget. Winter Soldier is the best, just like Ed Brubaker's run. Both were outstanding.
At 2:10 that serpent is Níðhöggur not Jörmungandur. Níðhöggur gnaws on the roots of Yggdrasil while Jörmungandur resides in the ocean and envelops the entire world.

4:52 Rogers: Don't do anything stupid till I get back. Barnes: How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you. That's the last reliving from Captain America the first Avengers.
If you look closely on the bridge in act two, after Cap punches Schmidt you can see the red skull under Schmidt's mask Ref: Act Two, 107th rescue scene, Red Skull skull reveal
One thing I noticed, or hope we can get some answers on, is when Red Skull uses the weapons on the Nazi officers, is that when they are hit with the beam, they don't disintegrate, but rather just kinda morph out of existence. Since the weapons were using space stone energy, is it safe to assume that the Nazi officers were teleported to some random location in the universe, rather than killed?
I find it hard to believe that Stark would get vibranium from Roxxon, as the Agent Carter series established a long-standing rivalry between Roxxon and Stark
Is it possible that all the people that was shot by the HYDRA tesseract weapon were not kill but transport to another part of the universe by the space stone like Red Skull???
This is basically confirmed given in both guardians films and agents of shield we see humans living in space with no explanation. Sure some of them could have been taken to space like Quill was, but there's simply to many examples of it in the mcu to write them all of. Given that Hydra probably hit a lot of people with their weapons it's a given that even if not many, a few humans would have ended up on hospitable planets.
@@kathradyne6801lol what ? that's not confirmed as cannon at all. There are little bits of smoldering ash and other pieces falling after someone is shot, I'd think its more likely they're dead. And the hydra weapons were used in 1940s, they'd all be very old or dead during the guardians movies .

Steve's dive onto grenade in that movie is one of my fav character moments in MCU, that simple scene/gesture tells so much about character.

Amen to that!
Yeah but hes still skinny
Funny thing about that when I was a kid I didn't know that was a grenade
