Personally I don't ever buy them because I love unlocking them slowly if possible in certain games to get maximum replay ability and they don't even impact the gameplay. The Decimator Helmet at 1:09:54 is actually an upgraded variant of Noble 6's helmet from Halo Reach. Pull up pics side by side and you'll see that they are extremely similar

People should be thankful to people like you. The Req micro transactions have allowed us to have free DLC drops. Nobody recognises this fact. Think of it. Without Reqs, 343 would have to make some form of generating income after release, I.e DLC. By adding packs that aren't really necessary but are a nice add on to those willing to pay. DLC on the other hand is almost compulsory. I thank you GaLm and others like you, and encourage you to continue this in the future. (It's damn entertaining).

Out of all the legendary armors he had, the only two that really stood out to me were the hell jumper variations because of the little sheath for the knife. I also do miss the mix and match customization of the older halos because sometimes it looks better when the armor isn't completely parallel.
