How to make a hollow plaster cast from a cardboard waste mould

This video shows a method for using a waste mould to make a hollow plaster cast. A waste mould is designed to be used only once, as it is often destroyed at the end of the process.
The video starts with a simple waste mould made from card, with plastic parcel tape and wax acting as a barrier for the plaster. It shows the stages of mixing plaster and applying it to one side at a time, before separating the mould from the finished hollow cast. This method can be used for producing an original form, from which a silicon rubber mould can be made for creating multiple casts.
