Her dream collab is with Bruno Mars and it NEEDS to happen. You cannot listen to this just once. Every time you listen, you puck up all the nuances and the band is amazing. They've worked closely for years and her musical director is Adonis Tabanda, bass player, they create magic. She's just awesome and I need her to sing more funk style because it suits her well. Also, check out her 2017 and 2018 Asia's Song Festival held in S. Korea. Talk about commanding the stage and make sure you watch all four songs.

Definitely the best Bruno Mars medley we've heard! With Morissette's outstanding vocals and mastery, the superb performance by the band, especially the drummer and the bass guitar, and the excellent arrangement, with such smooth transitions from song to song, it's really remarkable. A genius work of art.

She and Christian Bautista did the Grand Finale of Disney's Night of Wonders. It was the kick off of Disney + streaming services in the Philippines. She sings an original Disney song written for her. There are actually three night of wonder performances that highlight more great Filipino talents. They are all so good.
Facts! You are so right about Filipino bands just about anywhere in the world. Retired US Navy here and just about everywhere I went in the world....like you said Dubai, Singapore....Thailand, Indonesia, Bahrain, Hong Kong...you will find a Filipino house band in clubs and they can just about perform and sing any song you requested and they can play the songs note for note!
For Morissette, she only needs to practice ones and immediately present to us. This Bruno's medley only take them Take-two and came out such a masterpiece.

Great spontaneous reaction. I've subscribed to your channel because you are obviously an experienced musician capable of making intelligent and meaningful reactions. ( I am a musician myself.) Another Filipino singer you might want to react to is Gigi de Lana. She performs with a live band in a small, intimate setting and in an altogether different vocal style. If you're at all curious, you might start with her rendition of Through the Fire x Piano in the Dark (two older songs back-to-back). Then, if you continue to be intrigued, you could follow it with her cover of Diana Reeves' Better Days (another oldie that is also tricky to sing).

Rent out the Studio 28 Bar/Restaurant after closing at 2am....and home by 4am...after 2 takes ,Morissette and 3RD Ave are one silky smooth combination. Adonis Tabanda (Bass ) is the group leader, and her musical director since 2016, arranged this.

Every time I listen to this medley, I get disappointed when it ends.

Well I don’t mean anything bad by it. It was the part about working in a hotel with a band kinda threw me off. Of course no offense to you since you used to have gigs in that type of settings. I have done the same in the past.

Places like Dubai have venues that hold up to 6k people 6 nights a week

It would seem that our dearest Mori is being deliberately ignored by the controlling and influential elements of the western (US & Europe) music industry because she is a threat (market share) to their own talents, projects and investments.
