Nice. I'm just waiting for my Fire and Sword kickstarter packs to turn up. Although I think I'll base them for Pikeman's Lament.

Have you looked at Twilight of Divine Right rules? They've supplements for Polish and Ottoman states.... Very good system. I love the Soldier King one which is 7YW

@@tolemykus4805 hopefully soon. I’m planning to get the battle scenario set up if I can find or make the table space in the next month or so and run through the deployments and stuff

Hey man, awesome army. To offer a little help, Székely is pronounced like Say-k-eye.

Is there no “L” sound at the end of the word? I’m sure I’ve heard it voiced by a Hungarian speaker.
Perhaps there are different accents in different regions of Hungary? 🤔

@@sirrathersplendid4825 Single L's are pronounced in Hungarian like English ones but the LY combination is considered a different letter in the alphabet and has a different pronunciation. There are different regional accents that don't deviate too far from the "baseline" that shouldn't affect the pronunciation of the letter. Hope this helps!

@@dw5723 - thanks! Wish, I’d continued with my Hungarian lessons :-)
In any event there’s always the German/English equivalent “Szekler”, though I hear that pronounced either
“Shek-ler” or “Sayk-ler”. I suspect the second is more correct?

@@sirrathersplendid4825 Crazy enough, I also speak German but I've always used the Hungarian word with Hungarian pronunciation to describe Székely in my maybe one conversation I had about them in German. I don't think I have a good answer for either German or English 😅
