    Oh Yossi. Beautiful.
Not a single word from this talk is off the mark.
It reminds me of something I saw many years ago while visiting in 770. At one point, during the weekday davening, this wild activity broke out and some group took the Rebbe’s chair from before his shtender and started moving it around the raised platform.
It startled me and upset some others who started to confront the other group. For me personally, from that point forward, I don’t want to be around such behavior.
But what thought entered my mind was that yes, כבוד אב also involves deference, respect for father’s chair, his lamp, his table, his bed, but what is father’s reaction when he sees his own small children or his grandchildren playing with these things? His heart warms, he smiles and his eyes shine with love because he sees his grandchildren playing.
    G-d bless you my friend.

Very beautiful to listen to your wisdom. And this approach is correct and truthful.
The rebbe is alive in every Jewish heart since we all have a חלק של נשמה של משה רבינו we just have to remove and wash away the dirt over the heart to expose the יחידה שבנפש to reveal our connection and living rebbe soul in our physical bodies. So yes the rebbe is alive within every jew. Remove the stone over the נשמה that’s covering the משה רבינו within us as the Rebbe Rayatz expounded on the stone that covers the נשמה.

I listened to this twice. Thank you for making this video...and making it only 11 minutes, short & sweet. The Previous Rebbe is in Gan Eden and no longer here, and so is the Rebbe. The Baal Shem Tov and the Maggid are in Gan Eden and no longer here. Rabeinu HaKodesh is in Gan Eden and no longer here. Those Friday nights were a HUGE exception.

chas veshalom to say the rebbe is no longer here!
      that is a lie.
same also about the frierdiker rebbe.
however by the rebbe, its already after the time which as the rebbe says in the sicha after the shiva of the rebetzin,
that the aspect of "dovid melech yisroel chay vekayam" was already drawn down into the reality of the world,
and therefore the whole inyon of speaking about how to connect to the rebbe, when you cannot see him - this only adds to the everlasting life of "dovid malko meshicha",
and as the rebbe said in the sicha of shabbos parshas bo, תשנ''ב
that in this generation we dont have the "diminishing of the luminaries" as was the histalkus of the previous rebbe,
since all the great revelations, were already drawn into the world

David hamelech and Saoul hamelech both they had the same rebbe :Smouel hanavi. .... Saoul because Hashem didn't answer to him, brought his rebbe "physically" in this world. David , in many cases when he needed advice , he went to Nathan the prophet who was with him, alive of course in this world. He never tried to bring here Smouel. Also Elisha who received double portion of rouach from Eliyahu, never claimed that Eliyahu was phisically here, even if we have an intervention of Eliyahu documented in the mikra when he send a letter to a rashah king in Judea, after his depart from this world with his physical body. He didn't die. He and Hanoch. Moshe rabbeinu died . All rebbes died also. Are they alive ? Of course, with Hashem. Are they coming back ? Of course. Be ibour or be gilgoul, Can they appear to other tzadikim ? Yes . But nobody is here physically with his body. You confuse yourselves with matters that they don't have any sense or value, and you lose the main. Be like David, don't be like Saoul in your connection with Hashem.

@avremelkatz6006 Respectfully, he did answer it, very humbly & honestly. He said “I don’t know”.
I find it so soothing to hear a Rabbi say I don’t know, especially on a public forum. Kudos.
Even though sadly we know, as he said in the onset of this 10 min response. I don’t want to get in the details or nitty gritty of this subject for obvious reasons (using my own words here). Due to the extreme sensitivity of the subject one would or should not deal with most of the questions they were all have, as you yourself stated.
I personally think there are 2 parts to your question,
      1) is this right, is this what the Rebbe wants, is this permissible according to Halacha, etc etc.
      2) if the answers to part 1 is yes, for argument sake. Then come the next stage to ask if all of the above is something I can push down others throats, if I believe this is right that I should have permission to force anyone and everyone to follow suite especially in the Rebbes Shul/presence as Kovod for the Rebbe physically being here.
And… as far as part 2 is absolutely A) תלוי בהרגש
-pending each individuals feelings. B) as the Rebbe said אורות דתהו וכלים דתיקון simply translated it must be done in away that an other will be able to accept it. Means without force without violence. In a way of Ahavas Yisroel in a way that the other person feels ok to accept it.
Therefore the Rabbi didn’t want to get into these specifics because of the deep rooted ugly controversy.

Another question could be asked , that although all the rebbeim said about their fathers what was said in the beginning of the video, but as far as I know they didn't keep the chair and shtender ... usually we learn what to do from maysoh ovos. I would argue you can't bring a proof from the yom tov meals at the friedike rebbe apartment, because that's a family honor , personally my in laws have set my mother in laws place at the table . The only hint I would think of , I heard in 78 after the rebbes heart attack, when the rebbe was in his office he asked the regular place be set up as if the rebbe was downstairs

For Chassidim these subjects are quite subjective and loaded of emotion. The Rebbe is alive when people speak his Torah and he moves his lips and he is irreplaceable leaving a huge void that nobody can fill and I am sure he prays for all and ask grace for everyone but being ALIVE in the physical form is delusion, gaslight and not a very Jewish concept, is stupid to discuss this and is not a kiddush Hashem ask all non Chabad people and major Gedolim today what they think about this ? Also if you read the Arizal a Tzadik of this stature can't leave this world without making Iburim and for sure there is one Tzadik alive with similarities of The Rebbe and quite low key while everyone is distracted not knowing that might be here part of his soul but in other human being full of holiness also.

You are 100% correct. What they believe is akin to the Christian 'second coming' which was an invention of convenience, seeing that J failed to fulfill all the key prohecies of Tanach.

I can't believe you would think that this man is Maschiach??
He doesn't fulfill *any* of the Tanakh messianic prophecies.
Was he born of a *virgin* ?
    Is his name Immanu-El?
    (Isaiah)
Was he born in Bethlehem? (Micah)
Did he come *before* the destruction of the Second Temple? (Daniel)
Was he the "Suffering Servant", Mashiach ben Yosef?

@@ingela_injeela If you really believe that the verse refers to Jesus (which is absurd and false), how was was Jesus' birth 650 years later (!), at the end of the Second Temple era, a sign to King Achaz that he will win the war?! It makes no sense. All Christian "proofs" can be refuted in similar fashion.
