"Blow" is one of the best movies i've ever seen in my entire life. World class. 10 out of 5 stars! Johnny Depp is the best actor in the world. Best actor i've ever seen. Just, amazing.

Funny how he's said he's not "particularly articulate", but the way he speaks he still manages to engage you into whatever he is saying; and it's not because he's Johnny Depp the celebrity, or because he's gorgeous, it's because he's the kind of guy that really 'thinks' before he speaks. You can tell from his interviews, that unlike most celebrities, when he says something, he's honest and straight-to-the-point about it. Love him.
No, he's awkward and shy and his way of speaking is extremely annoying but his face is so good-looking it makes you actually try to understand what he's saying and that's what makes you engage
I love Johnny Depp he is one of the greatest actors of our time and has made some of the best movies I have ever seen I love how laid back and mellow he is, its like he never let his fame get to him and simply does it because he enjoys it.
I can't help but feel his looks are what gave him a job until 1990 when he met Tim Burton and now he is acknowledged (rightfully) as one of the best actors to have ever lived. Burton showed everyone that Depp could do ugly... and do it beautifully. On another note, it's great to hear JD quoting Subterranean Homesick Blues.

I think, because he is such an amazing actor, who has respect for those he is playing, as well as (what seems like) a truly honest person, people are blown away. I think about his FOCUS as an actor and human being. He has the ability to transform himself as an actor, and still have the work ethic to learn something new in every film. God gave him such beautiful fine features on his face and of course the rest of his body. @FedorEight I think it's likely that directors, script writers, actors etc probably discuss characterisation and film context amongst themselves, prior to filming, so that the actors have sufficient understanding and empathy to portray characters in a convincing manner on screen. Therefore, I don't really think it's entirely fair to say that actors are merely 'parroting' the director's views, as a good actor (such as Johnny Depp) will have done plenty of research for his role.
@unclearless I think the women who just see Depp as 'hot' are as much a thorn in his side as men who reject him for it. Having said that, I don't know him and it's just the impression I get.

It is so weird when you have one point that your comferterable at and another your not. I can tell he is so comferterable on the stage behind the camera and he is uncomferterable kinda slow in a crowd or an interview. I feel the same way when I do singing performances I feel comferterable on stage and shy off stage! It's weird!
