Good episode! I really like how you structured it around 2 sliding scales and discussed how they overlapped.

This is timely. I've been trying to sort out Boros Suit Up (Equipment and Auras) in my cube for a while without making it too parasitic as well as make it viable and with the limitations of a peasant cube it has been a little difficult. Thankfully the new designs for equipment with ETBs like the For Mirrodin! cards that make a 2/2 are likely to help a bit.

I originally started thinking about this video after seeing the new Toxic mechanic in All Will Be One. But I definitely learned a lot while making the video. It brings me joy to know that you found it useful. Thank you.

This is legit the best episode of cube and coffee! Such a great, thorough explanation and defining of terms and themes. The graphics are nicely done and apt. Good listening experience too. The length is perfect too. it’s not too rushed but has enough to stay engaged in. Strong work, dude :-)

Nice video Chillmeister! This is a good way to understand card applications and archetypes. When I built my first cube, I put too many broad cards in it and the decks drafted would turn out very similar to each other.

Hey, thanks! I didn’t have any empirical data on that specific point. Thanks for your added perspective.

That's what I've got going on with artifact and enchantment strats in my commander cube. I've taken to using auras as my main evasion cards so they're useful in most decks and some good vehicles so Sram is useful for artifact decks too. Eidolon of blossoms works in etb also
