I find it always hilarious when you go shopping for non lego stuff, you are like oh my gosh 40 bucks, thats insane (as an example) 😂 but if it comes to lego 🤣

that's a great anecdote for legos success - They created a product we don't accept knock-offs of. You can always buy anything else cheaper - but even clueless parents are trying to sell there old kids lego for 10 bucks a pound lol

The proverbial 'big kid' in the LEGO candy store! Great shopping haul! I'm envious we don't have any stores like that near where I am. Close but not the same collection of rare, retired , used sets of that caliber. Be safe and well!

What are they supposed to do? Have their secretary call each other in advance months before to avoid clashes and co-ordinate? The difference is that Whatnot is an established platform with a planned published event, and duckbricks is just giving away junk he doesnt want himself…..

What has my life become that I tune in at 10am full of anticipation to watch a video of a guy putting carpet in a warehouse and somehow get disappointed that he's talking about Lego instead.

We have several stores EXACTLY like this in the UK: the top two are both world famous and attract customers from all across Europe

All exactly like this store, they might not be on your doorstep but Calgary is not close to Edmonton either for Bricksie.. that takes 3 hours and 200 miles
Thank you for letting me know, as I was not aware that these shops did this. It's hard to find this information online, as it also comes up with other official lego stores.
YOU RETURNED!!!! ty for showcasing brick bin again. I got a super expensive Clone minifigure for REALLY cheap from the north eastern location. The last time i went, i saw a boxed 400$ 7261 turbo tank and i literally had to get my brother to physically restrain me from buying it. Pretty sure my wallet shivers in fear every time i'm within 4 kilometres of a Brick Bin location. I would love to join your whatnot stream unfortunately though i hate using whatnot because of angry sellers and annoyingly expensive shipping costs

I had my largest Lego haul ever last week! 15 large sets for $1500 :D
it included 6 modular buildings, one NISB, liebherr r9800, saturn v, and other creator expert sets.
They have some really good classic and prequel Star Wars sets there.

So glad the stream will be on a Saturday rather than Sunday. The Sunday timeslots sadly eliminate a huge portion of Asia-Pacific region who need to be asleep at the usual 2-5am-ish on a Monday morning time that it converts to for us. It's a huge chunk of the worlds population you are missing out on in asia, australia, new zealand etc. I'm sure people think there is no one good time, but there are much more doable times that MOST could possibly get to where it's say 6am or 11pm etc for some. At least when you have it on a Saturday a lot of us can stay up super late or get up super early on a Sunday because we don't have to work the Sunday. There have been soon many things I'd have loved to bid on that you advertised in UA-cam videos for upcoming streams and I am always frustrated that it's just not gonna happen for me.

I would think the original eiffel tower would be a bad purchase now though no? With the new released set in more detail i have seen keen a few of the old one for sale and not selling at it's inflated price. Same thing happened to the original UCS MF in my opinion as once the new one got released with more detail and pieces no one wants to old one only for the figs.

Can i go to a store in my country similar to this one and sell things of. Any tips or youtubers/videos that can explain me with this?
I am a bricklink seller. maybe you can team up someone in your area to sell for a percentage. Then don't have to go through the work of opening a store.
