This is not Billie Holiday’s song. The song was written by Irving Berlin in 1935 for the movie Top Hat. Fred Astaire sang it while dancing with Ginger Rogers. Guy Lombardo as well as the Boswell sisters released cover versions in the same year. Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald recording was released in 1956. Billie Holiday and Doris day covers were released in 1958. Many other artists later on performed or released covers of this song. Here is a link to the original.
