Hair Bleaching and achieving the perfect GREY Colour with REDKEN SHADES EQ Toner

- HEY EVERYONE! Hope you are loving our hair videos so far, we carry out so many hair colour transformations within the salon and what better way to EDUCATE AND SHOWCASE our work than on UA-cam!!
Our client had been colouring her hair at home and had serval bands of colour which was making her blonde look very uneven.
We used our favourite Redken facelift bleach with 6% developer on the clients natural regrowth, we also took this bleach down onto the second band of orange brassy hair to clean up the blonde.
REDKEN ph bonder was also added to the colour process.
We then left to develop for 50 mins and rinsed and washed her hair using Redken blondage purple shampoo and extreme shampoo.
We then Toned use REDKEN SHADES EQ 9T with clear!!

Looks amazing! I always get scared to use 9T in case it’s too dark, I nearly have a heart attack cause it looks so dark while processing but you’ve given me the confidence to try it!! X
Just remember that she's not only using EQ 9t she's also using EQ clear too, which I believe is half or maybe a quarter of the EQ clear to a whole bottle of EQ 9t so that it won't come out too dark .. and use the regular ratio to equal the color in the developer to each color they using to achieve that platinum white hair
How much 9T and how much clear, if you used clear, and how much Shades EQ developer did you use? I've been trying to get the right toner for my hair and last time I used 9t, my hair came out too dark, but your client came out just exactly the way I want my hair to look! My hair is a level 10 platinum with a tiny bit of level 9.5 yellow on crown. I just need to know the ratio of 9t to clear and then how much activating solution! Thank you! Hey there, It was only redken shades EQ 9T that we used with no clear. We actually applied the colour twice as it didn't full take the first time, as sometimes when bleach has been applied the hair is more stubborn when toning. Redken recommend you leave SHADES EQ on for 20mins but if you feel the 9T goes too dark then I would apply it for only 5-10 mins or maybe try equal parts of clear to dilute the colour slightly. hopefully you can achieve the colour xxx

No sorry honey You giving the wrong information to this lady You use EQ 9t the whole bottle equal develop to that and then add a half or depend on what color is your hair use a quarter to that an equal amount of developer mix it Don't just use the EQ 9t cuz your hair will come out too dark And they would never be that color of white platinum I guarantee you 100%.. That's how you will achieve white platinum hair whatever she's telling you she's not telling you the correct answer because she just did that and it's in the caption and she put it in her caption saying she used for the color 9t EQ and EQ clear so the clear is EQ clear 😤😤🤔 depending on your hair color what it is now if it's platinum then use it on the root just a quarter of it and blend it in after 10 minutes and leave it on for a full 20 that's it but she's not giving you the full answer if she's not being honest with her techniques
@@ladyluxhairsalon2659 I've been a stylist and a owner from a salon and I can tell you right now you need to stop misguiding a lot of people with your regiment of your color mixing because to be honest with you there's no way you could achieve that hair color with just EQ-9t impossible It would have to be mix with the EQ clear depending on the color if it's already white planting them and you want to get it clear it will be a quarter to that you mix the develop ratio but you have to use the EQ 9t the bottle = part of developer as well ...😤
Sweetie I've been a hair stylist and a hair colorist for 39 years so i can tell you that you won't get that color in your hair just with the EQ-9t.. You used that with the developer equal parts but you also have to use EQ clear If your hair is already platinum and you want to do your your roots just use a quarter of it and equal parts of developer mix it and all together and put it on your roots first and then you can blend it in 10 minutes later down your in the middle I just message this lady that posted this and I told her she needs to be more specific and entwined in giving information to people on her post because what she just told you isn't correct You cannot achieve that color just with EQ 9t.. It's just not possible I'm sorry trust me mixing EQ 9t & EQ clear And you will achieve that color and with your hair being Platinum already You would only have to use EQ clear just a quarter added to the EQ 9t 👍

Can you list exactly what two products you used for the toner and your exact measurements? Did you use clear EQ with the 9T or just the developing solution?

Redken Shades EQ toners are amazing from white blonde. I love to use 10T & 10P With clear to create a white icey Blonde x

I'm not trying to hate, I actually love this videos but I just have questions. Why do you have only American clients? Or why your videos are only with American clients? I wonder if you've done this procedure with a Latin woman. Do you achieve the same results with a latin woman? Just curious.
Why are you saying "American clients" when her salon is in Scotland in the UK? I'm sure these women are probably Scottish. Do you know if there are any/many Latin women in Scotland?
