I get into a lot of arguments with people who say that Captain America isn't superhuman. They try and say that he is "enhanced" or "peak" human, but that is bullshit. Cap getting blasted off a roof by a rocket launcher, falling 20 feet off an overpass going 40 miles per hour, crashing through a city bus, which is probably also going 40 mph, AND BEING PERFECTLY OKAY MAKES HIM SUPERHUMAN!!! Honestly, Cap goes through all of that, and he doesn't have any broken bones, no cuts, not even a bruise! He's a little dirty, but that's it! He was even able to go toe-to-toe with another Superhuman with a Vibranium arm, master martial artist and weapons expert, who was completely fresh! Not tired, or beat up, 100%! Captain America, at least the Marvel Cinematic Universe version, is Superhuman, not "peak" human.
David Vallejo Muscles absorb most of the impact. As for the organs? The Gforce behind them? No idea, not sure if that serum improved the tensile strength of his organs. Otherwise I can see internal organ damage from such high Gforce.
sacr3 I'd still say he is more than "peak human condition". According to Marvel Wikia (not that it would be the ultimate truth, just a guess I guess ( :-) ) ), he can lift up to 1200 lbs, which is more than enough to say he is superhuman. I mean he fell from 25th floor and survived without any broken bones (although the shield absorbed most of the impact, even if you had shield that would absorb any kinetic energy, your hand would be shattered by said shield) so yeah. At the end of the movie, he took like 10 punches with vibranium hand to his face. Survived. Any normal human within the marvel universe would probably have his skull shattered. But yeah, he is on the weaker side of the superhuman class. But he is definetly in there.
Ma4zu6 Physically he's more like his Ultimate Comic counterpart who is Superhuman. That marvel Wikia is about Cap in the 616-comic continuity. These movies take things from 616 and Ultimate Universes. He's morally the 616 character but physically the Ultimate one.
Ah, the debate just goes on and on... Cap is the peak of human *potential*- I'm so sick of people not noting the difference, which is all-important. What that means is for all physical (and mental) attributes he is at the *highest possible* human level, or 100% of the human potential, fully realized. Now, there are two ways of understanding the word "potential" here. First, in a genetic sense, where our penchant for improvement is contained in our DNA, which is unlocked progressively over millennia.Let's call this the scientific understanding. And second, in a broader philosophical sense, where within all of us exists "potential" to be realized, but none of us ever achieve the full reality; indeed, it requires artificial enhancement in the form of the SSS to get there, which is (wouldn't you know it) what Cap got. Then there is also what "superhuman" means. It can be taken relatively, like "greater than normal", or "higher than the *current* best", or absolutely, "beyond the capability of *any* human, full stop." Clearly, Cap surpasses the first definition, so we can dismiss that as obvious and uninteresting. But does he go beyond the second, stricter one? It is an open question. Why? Because to answer it we would need a full, by-the-numbers analysis of *exactly* what the human body's limitations are: eg *exactly* what is the max limit of human strength, etc. So, no, Cap is not superhuman but the peak of potential, keeping him in line with his mainstream comics counterpart.
ClassicalPhilosophyFTW They are also pulling from the Ultimates Universe and Ultimate Cap is super-human. And this Cap in the movies is more physically like Ultimate Cap if you have read both 616 ( Peak-Level Cap) and Ultimate (Super-Human Cap).

I literally typed “winter soldier walking”. I mean seriously I am genuinely concerned I’ll never love anything as much as I love the way this man walks
this kind of scene is the only thing that Civil war lack, They tried to make Civil war more of "avengers" style rather than a captain america series, Its a great movie tho, Don't misunderstood me, The emotions and feelings overwhelmed me. 9/10 mate.
Poor Falcon, his car got completely fucked up! But it was pretty badass when he took down that dude with just a basic as knife. Also for some reason I really like the way Cap escapes the car by pulling Black Widow and Falcon on the door with him. I dunno it's just interesting and cool looking.
This movie did an excellent job showing how dangerous of a villain HYDRA really was. In just about every other MCU movie, the danger is an antagonist centered around one dude, which in turn makes the threat knowable and thus not fearsome. But this movie? HYDRA was clearly shown to be highly organized, massive, and ruthless. There was no dissent in their ranks, but everyone can operate on their own if need be, meaning there isn’t one person to kill to end the threat. Bucky was just one pawn, and a powerful one at that. This time, their motto wasn’t just a lame rallying cry.
The minigun in this movie holds a special place in my heart because the firing sound effects sound very similar to the one in Terminator 2 (my favourite film of all time).
I love how Bucky just threw Sitwell out of the car and into that truck XD!! Sitwell was in fact one of the most boring unnecessary shield characters to ever exist. His usefulness had ran its course.
They're shooting a guy through a bus that they can't even see, and by the time they have a shot on him he gets his shield. The only thing I discredit them for is not shooting for his legs.
I don't know about you guys, but there's something about that Hydra soldier passing his assault rifle to Bucky that makes the scene so pleasant and cool to watch
Natasha knows how to attack Bucky when she sees the shadow of Bucky who tries to shoot her from the top. With this intelligence, Nat is my most favourite character. Can't wait to see her skills in Black Widow (2020).
I only thing that I didn't like about this scene is that 'The Winter Soldier' isn't a lone assassin here, in the comics he was one man army and he could kill anybody himself. Apart from that the movie was awesome.
He probably did most of his missions alone. I think Hydra was just being cautious here, because this was CAPTAIN AMERICA AND BLACK WIDOW they were dealing with.
The only reason why he was working with other people is cause he was going up against the greatest soldier in history. Captain America. Hydra new that even The Winter Soldier shouldn't go it alone for this specific mission.
When I first saw this scene from start to finish (counting the one on one fight b/t Cap and Bucky here), I was like, "... What the hell just happened?!?!?!?!"
Bucky in Winter Soldier: Raaawr! Bucky in Civil War: Raawr! Bucky in Infinity War: Rawr! Bucky in Endgame: R! Getting weaker and weaker in every movie huh?
1:17 I thought the whole point of cap's shield was that it reflects energy. How come cap didn't become a pancake when thor slammed his shield with mjolnir, but a grenade sends him flying?

I literally typed “winter soldier walking”. I mean seriously I am genuinely concerned I’ll never love anything as much as I love the way this man walks
0:19. I found that insanely badass.
2:41 A masked guy with black suit, a metal arm, a grenade launcher and a terrifying face. Most badass villain ever 😎
Awesome scene. The winter soldier is the truth.
Good luck getting another Marvel movie of this level. Absolutely the best movie in MCU. Not a comic book movie but a fantastic thriller.
Wasn't Black Widow once trained by Winter Soldier himself, in the Red Room, back in the Soviet days? Too bad they didn't recognize each other.
She knew about him before the highway scene, she gave Cap a small story about him at the hospital.
Bye Bye Bikini's!
redDL89 But no he did not train her
Isthian Thomas not in the movie but in the comics
this kind of scene is the only thing that Civil war lack, They tried to make Civil war more of "avengers" style rather than a captain america series, Its a great movie tho, Don't misunderstood me, The emotions and feelings overwhelmed me. 9/10 mate.
Poor Falcon, his car got completely fucked up! But it was pretty badass when he took down that dude with just a basic as knife. Also for some reason I really like the way Cap escapes the car by pulling Black Widow and Falcon on the door with him. I dunno it's just interesting and cool looking.
Love this movie more that civil war! Any dude with a gun and long hair is a badass 😜
Any dude with a gun, long hair, and speaks Russian is a badass
I would've been scared af! Bucky snatching off steering wheels😂
3:20 why nobody's talking about it. I thought it's badass
The minigun in this movie holds a special place in my heart because the firing sound effects sound very similar to the one in Terminator 2 (my favourite film of all time).
What really made this sequence for me in addition to the fight s was the music. Set the tone perfectly in my opinion.
The winter solider does things to my girl parts. 😍
O_o
Kendra Calvin o_O
O_O
OOOOO_____ooooooo
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Wow, bucky had to blow up a saturn sky redline fam
I love how Bucky just threw Sitwell out of the car and into that truck XD!! Sitwell was in fact one of the most boring unnecessary shield characters to ever exist. His usefulness had ran its course.
Winter Soldier / Bucky is so bad ass. Love how he just rips the steering wheel off lol
Am I the only one that laughs at the way Bucky goes flying off the roof of the car after they hit the breaks? 😂
He belived that he could fly.
He couldn't.
3:02 that is the perfect example of bad guy aim
+Anthony L T Lam He didn't know where captain is so he simply fire form the left of the bus to the right to make him getting out of that bus.
They're shooting a guy through a bus that they can't even see, and by the time they have a shot on him he gets his shield. The only thing I discredit them for is not shooting for his legs.
Well shooters are trained to shoot the center of the body, so we can always say that the goons are REALLY obedient and uncreative.
To be fair it isn't easy to aim a 50 Ib death machine in your hands
Sorry Cap, you totally should've died there.
mcu's best music for winter solider.. creates full on intensity as he progresses towards his objectives in fully focused way
1:18 Cap could have run away but instead he was like "yea you know what I am just gonna take it with my shield" lol
I don't know about you guys, but there's something about that Hydra soldier passing his assault rifle to Bucky that makes the scene so pleasant and cool to watch
0:19 This is ✨mwah✨
2:40 OMG the walk tho .........🔥hot as hell🔥 man
One of the best fight in mcu till date
This doesn't even look like it belongs in the MCU. That's top notch action movie right here. 👍👍👍
2:34 Nat seriously got scared for breaking his favourite sun glass !
Back when Marvel movies were worth watching....sigh 😢
The winter solder is baddaaas😎😎😎🙂🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒👏👏👏💣💣💣💣💣💣
Incredible scene and sound efects....but why didnt minigun Hydra soldier try to shoot to Steve legs?
2:36 Bucky: jumps like a chad
His men: well alrighty then captain just give us a min
you should do Black widows "hey sailor" scene, i haven't been able to find it anywhere.
+Ruben Garcia the minute i upload it, it gets taken down. thats why there are no videos anywhere.
+Richard Parker who brain washed Bucky. ?
+Faiz Timimi hydra
+Richard Parker that's too bad :/
+Ruben Garcia could always download... ;-)
Natasha knows how to attack Bucky when she sees the shadow of Bucky who tries to shoot her from the top. With this intelligence, Nat is my most favourite character. Can't wait to see her skills in Black Widow (2020).
Given that Widow could damage his glasses, THANK GOD she didn't aim higher up, otherwise this movie would've been severely cut short, right guys?
The music scored to this movie (this scene in particular) is phenomenal!!
Yeah that is the most likely reason why he has hired help here.
Josh Graves Yeah, plus this was after Cap took out a bunch of SHIELD/Hydra agents and a quinjet alone, and then survived a bunker busting missile.
The only reason why he was working with other people is cause he was going up against the greatest soldier in history. Captain America. Hydra new that even The Winter Soldier shouldn't go it alone for this specific mission.
Can’t believe captain America is gone...buddy became an old man using the time machine
Sam Wilson’s Air Force Special Operations Pararescue Jumper training came in handy
Best Marvel flick to date 🤷🏿
Best MCU action sequence ever. I thought Civil War would top this, and they nearly did with the Bucky/T'Challa/Cap scene, but this is still the best.
How many times have I watched this video for edits?
If you watch carefully in the first 15 secs of this video black widow dodges a bullet and then pulls captain America out of the way of one
and kicks falcon out of the way of one in a matter of 3 seconds. She anticipated the bullets
Evelynn Gresbach oh yeaa damn that bitch is badass
Evelynn Gresbach n
That sound of the walking hits off the shield is just so damn genius!!! 8^D
No one's gonna talk about how badass romanoff is in this scene
Just me? Ok
This movie should call captain america : the fall of s.S.H.E.I.L.D
1:17 I thought the whole point of cap's shield was that it reflects energy. How come cap didn't become a pancake when thor slammed his shield with mjolnir, but a grenade sends him flying?
It absorbs energy i think
Because Thor's hammer was going down and?the shield was facing up i guess
Cap was crouching in Avengers scene.
In here he's standing straight up.
That’s because the grenade was under him
