Beatles Author of two essential books, “Eight Arms To Hold You-The Solo-Beatles Compendium” (co-written with Mark Easter,) and the John Lennon chronology “Strange Days Indeed” (co-written with Scott Raile,) Chip joins us to discuss many of the songs still unreleased written and recorded by John Lennon, most of them first heard on “The Lost Lennon Tapes” radio series. Along with them, specific songs from the radio program that have been released on posthumous Lennon releases (John Lennon Anthology, Signature Box Set, reissues of Lennon albums.)
We both share our thoughts on what songs are among the strongest and most worthwhile songs, as well as those that were somewhat unfinished yet still had potential for becoming strong material.
