Thanks for this great video! I'm a product manager/data analyst at a small startup focused on chronic pain. I want to upskill into data science/ML over the next couple of years. Right now I'm doing some basic (but still useful!), just descriptive stats and basic inferential stats, but I'm really excited to learn and apply these kinds of techniques to our data in the future, as we have a very rich and unique data set on chronic pain patients. The examples you provided really helped me see the relevance.

Glad you liked the video! Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with MMM. The little that I do know is that linear regression models are often used for MMM.
That depends on what you mean by "real data scientist." For example, if your goal is to secure a "Data Scientist" job at a Big Tech company, you will likely need to know advanced mathematics. The job of "Data Scientist" varies quite a lot from company to company - as do the technical requirements.
